Description

The company is a fintech that helps businesses run and grow across borders, with a single platform covering business accounts, hedging and financing. Founded in 2009, it has more than 2000 staff in nearly 70 cities.

This is a Product Design role in the Valencia office, hybrid with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home each week.

The team is hiring an experienced mobile-first Product Designer to shape native mobile experiences for the company's clients, turning complex financial workflows into simple, intuitive screens.

The role may be filled at Product Designer II (Level 3) or Senior Product Designer (Level 4), based on the autonomy, product judgement and scope shown during interviews.

The company does not accept applications outside its official channels, will only contact you from an official company email domain, and never asks for payment during recruitment. Recruitment agencies and search firms should note the company's notice on their involvement.

AI and automated tools support administrative steps in recruitment only. Human recruiters and hiring managers make all hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design for key journeys in the mobile app, from prioritising and conceptualising through detailed design, build and launch.
  • Design for mobile from the start instead of shrinking desktop or web screens.
  • Apply a solid grasp of iOS and Android conventions, navigation, gestures, native behaviour, accessibility and platform limits.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, Data and Operations to turn strategy into practical design, spot high-impact problems and agree priorities.
  • Simplify complex financial workflows for mobile while weighing client needs, business goals, security and technical limits.
  • Craft clear, intuitive interactions with careful attention to hierarchy, motion, feedback, states and edge cases.
  • Prototype, test and iterate fast, using research and data to learn how people behave and to check interaction models before they are built.
  • Use tools such as Claude, Codex, Figma Make or other AI-assisted prototyping and coding tools where they speed up exploring interactions, building working prototypes, testing assumptions or improving your workflow.
  • Judge generated solutions critically and use your own product and design judgement to decide what ships.
  • Add mobile patterns and components to the design system so it supports native experiences rather than copying web patterns.
  • Work closely with mobile engineers during build to protect quality and polish at launch.
  • Help lift design practice through critiques, workshops and reviews.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional experience in Product Design or UX, assessed against Level 3 or Level 4 scope.
  • A portfolio showing strong mobile product work, including shipped native iOS and/or Android experiences.
  • A strong grasp of mobile interaction design, information architecture, navigation, gestures, states and platform conventions.
  • Experience working closely with mobile engineers and understanding the practical constraints of building native apps.
  • Strong visual craft in layout, typography, hierarchy and interaction design on small screens.
  • Strong product thinking, balancing client needs, business goals and technical realities, and making deliberate, data-informed trade-offs.
  • A problem-solving mindset and curiosity about new ways of working. Skill with one particular AI tool matters less than how you break down problems, question assumptions, experiment quickly and turn ideas into working experiences.
  • Willingness to go beyond static design files, using prototypes, AI-assisted tools, code or other methods when they explain a mobile interaction faster or better.
  • Proven collaboration with Design, Product and Engineering.
  • Strong organisation, comfort with ambiguity, and clear communication with a range of stakeholders.
  • Fintech experience, or experience with similarly complex, data-heavy or regulated products, is strongly preferred.
