Description

The company makes tech-enabled learning products for educators and students, with the aim of giving students flexible learning environments and giving educators the tools to support them.

The company is remote first.

Responsibilities

  • Own the national and regional event portfolio from strategy through delivery, deciding which events to invest in, running flagship conferences, and showing the impact of each investment.
  • Connect Marketing, Sales, and agency partners so events drive growth, using high-impact programs and partner activations to extend the event experience.
  • Build a national event strategy that goes beyond the event day.
  • Give regional sales teams scalable playbooks, toolkits, and standards so local activations succeed.
  • Manage the events budget, negotiate with venues, vendors, and the event agency, and build the ROI case that guides future investment.
  • Align Creative, Content, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales, and Operations around coordinated event delivery.
  • Make sure leads reach Sales quickly and at high quality, and turn event learnings into repeatable playbooks.
  • Grow the event presence by working with strategic partners to bring the brand to life.
  • Report event ROI to marketing and sales leadership and use the results to shape next year's strategy.

Requirements

  • Have 7+ years of progressive experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation, including owning national-scale events.
  • Have managed six-figure event budgets, including vendor negotiation, contract management, and financial reporting.
  • Have directed external agencies on complex events with many stakeholders.
  • Lead across functions and align stakeholders to get results without formal authority.
  • Turn data into practical investment recommendations.
  • Manage several events, timelines, and budgets at once as an excellent project manager.
  • Communicate with confidence, including presenting to senior leadership.
  • Be familiar with event and marketing technology such as Salesforce, Marketo, LeanData, lead scanning tools, and virtual event platforms.
  • Be willing and able to travel domestically to 10-12 events per year, with peak travel in January through April.
  • Education sector event experience is a plus but not required.
  • Be willing to take on responsibilities that change as business needs evolve.
  • Application deadline: November 25, 2026.
