Description

The company helps growing businesses manage global cash flow and expansion through business accounts, hedging and financing on one platform. Founded in 2009, it has more than 2000 staff across nearly 70 cities and is moving from a delivery-led setup to a platform-led product company.

The role owns one metric: the share of clients who become hedgers. Hedging already works and has thousands of users, so the gap is conversion rather than proof that the product works.

Today clients see their exposure only through their CPM and a spreadsheet, one client at a time. Clients cannot see it clearly and CPMs cannot see it at scale, so the hedging conversation happens late or not at all.

You will build guided journeys and decision tools that help clients and CPMs understand the client's international business well enough to make the right call.

You will work with CPMs and Sales, Data and Analytics, Design and Engineering, Compliance and Risk, and clients directly.

The hard parts are changing behaviour rather than shipping features, serving two audiences with one set of data, improving today's conversion method without disrupting it, modelling exposure from incomplete data, and handling regional rules, credit and margin effects and different client segments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full path into hedging, from spot client to hedge-active client to policy client, including every drop-off point, with a dedicated squad of developers.
  • Design staged journeys instead of one-off prompts, sending the right message when a client's exposure becomes real to them.
  • Build triggered workflows around real events: a new currency pair, a large invoice, an adverse rate move or a forward maturing.
  • Find what separates clients who convert from those who do not, and build around that difference.
  • Create exposure views, scenario and impact models, and MTM and forward comparisons that a finance lead can use without training.
  • Help clients answer 'should I hedge?' for themselves with confidence. Balance honest risk disclosure with a simple decision, aiming for a well-made decision rather than a sold one.
  • Give CPMs a portfolio view of client exposure, trades and performance so they know whom to contact and what to say before the client asks.
  • Surface timely signals such as unhedged exposure, shifting trade patterns and policy lapses.
  • Turn what works in today's converting conversations into product.
  • Move clients from a first hedge to a second and third, and from ad hoc trades onto a standing monthly policy.
  • Build statements, notifications and review moments that create the habit and prove value after the trade.
  • Run a steady cadence of A/B tests across the journey, read results honestly including those that disprove your ideas, and build measurement that shows conversion and what drives it.
  • Success in 12-18 months: spot-to-hedger conversion is measurably higher and the lift is attributable; a meaningful share of new hedgers convert through product journeys; CPMs work from exposure signals and cover more clients; clients can describe their FX exposure and return to hedge without a call; more hedgers move onto policies; product is the main driver of conversion.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, including at least one role that owned conversion, adoption or engagement outcomes end to end.
  • Strong analytics and experimentation: funnel analysis, cohort and retention analysis, and designing and interpreting A/B tests.
  • Experience designing lifecycle journeys or triggered workflows, and the messaging inside them.
  • Fluent English for daily work with global commercial, tech and Legal, Compliance and Risk stakeholders.
  • Breaks ambiguous problems into clear product opportunities and works comfortably across UX, data and operations.
  • Thinks in funnels and journeys, looks for where clients drop out and why, and sizes the opportunity before designing a fix.
  • Builds for clients and the internal teams who serve them, and weighs automation against human judgement.
  • Understands triggers, incentives and habit loops, and knows conversion is earned rather than shipped.
  • Partners with Data and can build and defend the exposure and funnel views personally.
  • Understands how product decisions affect revenue and margin, and prioritises by business impact.
  • Works with bias to action in under-defined environments without waiting for perfect structure.
  • Talks regularly with clients and CPMs and uses what they say to shape decisions.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with foreign exchange, hedging or other asset classes.
  • Nice to have: experience in fintech or regulated financial products.
  • Nice to have: experience building internal or advisor-facing tools alongside client-facing product.
  • Nice to have: localisation awareness.
  • Nice to have: prior FX or hedging experience is a plus, though not a requirement.
