Description

You will join the Growth team as a Senior Data Analyst, working with User Acquisition and Growth partners to analyze data, identify opportunities, and turn findings into insights that guide business decisions and improve the player experience.

The role sits within the company's analytics function and works alongside Data Science and Data Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of analytical projects from scoping the problem and exploring data through to presenting insights to collaborators.
  • Work with UA and Growth colleagues to understand performance, answer business questions, and recommend next steps.
  • Run deep-dive analyses into performance drivers and opportunities, and support investment decisions.
  • Define and maintain Growth metrics and their logic, covering spend, acquisition, revenue, attribution, and marketing performance.
  • Own the business logic and analytical requirements of Growth data models so they reflect how the business measures results.
  • Lead the translation of business and analytical needs into data requirements for Data Engineering, then check the solutions they deliver.
  • Find and investigate data quality issues, inconsistencies, and gaps in Growth reporting and the data beneath it.
  • Build and maintain scalable reports and analysis tools, reducing manual work where you can.
  • Explain complex findings clearly to technical colleagues and to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Mentor other analysts, share standard methods, and help keep analytical practice consistent across the team.
  • Support Data Scientists on measurement, experimentation, and modeling by providing solid analytical and data foundations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a closely related role.
  • A track record of delivering analytical projects independently and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Experience owning or substantially contributing to analytical data models, metric definitions, or reporting foundations.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and analytical workflows.
  • A solid grasp of data modeling, data quality, and analytical data structures.
  • Experience turning business requirements into data requirements and working closely with Data Engineering.
  • Proficiency in a data visualization or BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • A good understanding of statistical analysis and experimentation.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing data, attribution, and acquisition metrics is a strong plus.
  • Strong ownership, with the drive to see work through to completion without close supervision.
  • A curious mindset that digs into unexpected results and challenges assumptions.
  • A realistic outlook focused on finding practical ways forward.
  • Careful attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy and reliability.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Strong collaboration skills across Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, and business teams.
  • Clear communication, with the ability to challenge constructively and build trust with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • A willingness to help other analysts grow technically and uphold high analytical standards across the team.
  • AI-assisted tools were used to review this description; final content and hiring decisions are subject to human review by the company.
