Description

The product teams build vehicles and in-car experiences, from hardware and battery systems to software, design, and safety and entertainment features.

Software now sits at the center of modern vehicles, handling data, security, and the user experience. For businesses, that brings better efficiency, lower costs, and stronger safety and decision-making.

The company controls both in-vehicle and cloud software, providing integrated tools for fleet management, logistics, and energy optimization. It is hiring in Silicon Valley and Austin for people who want to build commercial fleet platforms at scale, with a focus on customers and sustainability.

The commercial software group is an innovation-first team, working across all of its products and shaping its system architecture, APIs, products, and customer offerings.

  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture.
  • Solid working knowledge of both NoSQL and relational databases.
  • Empathy for internal and external users and a strong customer focus.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Strong product sense.
  • Ability to work independently, driving features or components through the full development lifecycle.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud provider: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with an IoT stack is a strong plus.
  • A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
