Senior Application Security Sales Engineer - Eastern Europe and CIS

Following the acquisition of an application security vendor, the company is growing its Eastern Europe and CIS sales team and needs a Senior Application Security Sales Engineer to support regional sales with technical expertise.

You will act as a trusted technical adviser to customers and a strategic partner to the sales team, showing how the company's application security solutions handle real security problems and deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

• Work with Regional Sales Managers to plan sales approaches and grow regional revenue.
• Run customer meetings, technical presentations, product demos and workshops, both remotely and on site.
• Plan, run and complete product evaluations and Proof of Value engagements.
• Turn technical details into business benefits for both technical staff and executives.
• Train and support distributors and strategic partners so they understand the technology and can sell it well.
• Help write RFI and RFP responses and explain where the company is ahead of competitors.
• Work with technical support, Product Management and Product Development to resolve critical issues and pass on market feedback.
• Produce demand-generation content such as webinars, articles and expert publications.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 8 years in network security, software development, pre-sales engineering or hands-on work with web application solutions, ideally including 5+ years as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience with consultative or value-based sales methods.
• Strong communication, presentation and product demonstration skills.
• A solid grasp of web applications, security and audit environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancers, proxies, firewalls, REST and SOAP APIs, SSL/TLS, cryptography and certificates.
• Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Fluent Polish and English.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• To stand out further, you may also have: knowledge of BGP, GRE and DNS; application development or scripting in Python or Bash, including automation and RegEx; familiarity with containers, Kubernetes and service mesh technologies; cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP or ISC2 CCSP; knowledge of PCI, SOX and HIPAA compliance standards; experience with network or application firewalls and IDS/IPS solutions; Russian language skills.

Conditions

Full-time employment contract under Polish labor law.
