Description

This is a hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ, where you will shape practical AI-powered Document Intelligence solutions through product strategy, technical evaluation and decisions based on evidence.

The company is a technology consulting and implementation partner that helps organizations solve complex business and technology problems across modern application, cloud, data, AI and digital transformation work.

You will own product requirements, capabilities and roadmaps for AI solutions, including document processing and intelligence use cases, and you will assess emerging technologies and turn findings into product decisions.

You will work with engineering, architecture, data science and security teams to set evaluation criteria, shape the scope and priorities of proofs of concept (PoCs), review results and flag what enterprise adoption would require. Engineering and technical teams will carry out the PoCs and experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Research emerging technologies and market trends in agentic AI, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), OCR, multimodal AI, document extraction and retrieval.
  • Set the AI product strategy, capabilities, requirements and roadmaps for Document Intelligence and related use cases, aligned with business and technical needs.
  • Assess AI models, platforms, third-party tools and open-source options, weighing build against buy.
  • Define evaluation criteria for accuracy, performance, scalability, reliability, latency and cost, then work with technical teams to scope PoCs, review benchmarks and inform product decisions.
  • Identify integration dependencies, technical risks and production-readiness concerns, and present findings, documentation and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AI or technical product management, with a record of owning technical product requirements, priorities and roadmaps.
  • Strong working knowledge of generative AI, agentic AI, LLMs, and related areas such as multimodal models, OCR, document extraction and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Understanding of AI agents, tool calling, orchestration, reasoning and human-in-the-loop workflows, with experience defining evaluation needs and using engineering-led experiments or PoC results to guide decisions.
  • Experience working with engineering, architecture, security and data science teams on technical product tradeoffs, with strong analytical, documentation and executive communication skills.
  • Understanding of enterprise security, data privacy, responsible AI, governance and scalable production systems.
  • You balance product vision with practical technical evaluation and give clear recommendations backed by evidence.
  • You can work through ambiguity and fast-changing AI technology and shifting priorities while keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • You explain technical tradeoffs clearly and collaborate across product and engineering.
  • Bonus: product management experience with Document Intelligence, enterprise document processing or intelligent document extraction solutions.
  • Bonus: exposure to enterprise document-processing workflows and multimodal AI use cases.
  • Bonus: experience comparing commercial AI services with open-source models and tooling.
