Description

The company runs a network for trusted trade, using AI-powered products that help governments and businesses make global supply chains more resilient and secure.

The LSP Platform team builds products that let freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and 3PLs run on the network. These firms handle millions of shipments and link shippers, suppliers and governments. The products help them clear shipments faster, shield their customers from risk and delays, and sell new trade intelligence services.

This is an in-country role in Australia. You will work from strategic LSP customers' offices, alongside their brokers, compliance analysts, operations leads and IT teams. You act as the product owner for the company's offering within each account. That means understanding how the customer really operates, deciding what the product should do for them, and driving deployment, adoption and expansion.

You will set strategy and roadmap for each account with the Technical Account Managers. Together you will map where the product fits today, where it should go over the next 12 to 24 months, and what it takes to get there. You are accountable for the account's product vision and the results it produces.

Responsibilities

  • Spend substantial time on customer sites to learn their business models, operations and customer relationships across forwarding, brokerage and carriage, including the informal workarounds no one documents.
  • Turn your understanding of LSP operations into clear product priorities.
  • Define success metrics linked to customer impact, such as fewer holds and detentions, faster clearance, lower compliance cost and new LSP revenue, and track them over time.
  • Focus on the experience of brokers, compliance analysts and operations staff who handle high volumes under time pressure.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise and Public Sector product teams so that shipper submissions, LSP processing and government intake form one consistent, trusted record.
  • Stay close to customers through discovery, design partnerships, pilots and post-launch feedback, and share what you learn with the team.
  • Write clear requirements that engineers can build from, and use AI prototypes to test ideas before production code exists.

Requirements

  • You have shipped B2B products that customers depend on, with at least 5 years of product management experience, ideally on data-heavy, API-driven or workflow products for enterprise clients.
  • You are intensely curious. You do not need to start as a logistics expert, but you want to become one, and you keep asking follow-up questions about people, incentives, systems and unwritten workarounds.
  • You prefer working beside customers over reading summaries of their problems. You earn trust by showing up, listening carefully and returning with working results, and you treat customers as partners in the build.
  • You own outcomes. You measure the difference the product makes for customers and keep iterating after launch. When something underperforms, you take responsibility and fix it.
  • You are technical enough to handle the integration work. You are comfortable with APIs, EDI, ETL/ELT, JSON and integration architecture, and you can discuss details with engineers and customer IT teams.
  • You care deeply about UX. You dislike clumsy integrations and high-friction workflows, and you believe complex processes can be made to feel simple.
  • You work well across cultures and time zones, you can work independently, and you stay closely connected to the core team.
  • Preferred: experience in a forward-deployed, solutions or customer-embedded product role at an enterprise software company.
  • Preferred: a record of design partnerships, pilots or on-site discovery that shaped what you built and drove measurable adoption and expansion.
  • Preferred: experience building platform, API or integration products that had to fit into existing customer systems.
  • Preferred: comfort with AI or ML products, including turning complex model outputs into decisions users can act on confidently.
  • Preferred: exposure to logistics, freight, customs, trade compliance or supply chain technology. This is a plus but not required, since learning speed matters more than prior knowledge.
  • Preferred: experience with products serving several stakeholders whose incentives conflict, such as marketplaces, networks or multi-party workflows.
