Description

The company is hiring a hands-on developer to help build and run its customer data and marketing technology setup. You will work across Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Next, unifying customer data, managing identity and consent, building audience segments and supporting personalized engagement.

Marketing Cloud Engagement and Marketing Cloud Next will run side by side on the roadmap, so the team needs a developer who can pick up and apply platform capabilities as they change.

You will report to the Sr. Director, Martech Operations and Production Support, and live in or near one of the company's collaboration hubs. The hubs are Costa Mesa, CA; San Jose, CA; Allen, TX; Austin, TX; Franklin, TN; New York, NY; Schaumberg, IL; Washington, D.C.; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; and Seattle, WA. The company asks hub-based staff to work with colleagues in person.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Data Cloud data streams, mappings and data models that unify customer data from multiple sources.
  • Support identity resolution, consent management and unified customer profiles within Data Spaces.
  • Design and activate audience segments for Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud Next and downstream channels.
  • Build and maintain journeys, automations, emails and Contact Builder configurations in Marketing Cloud.
  • Develop Marketing Cloud Next solutions with Flow Builder, Data Actions and Data Kits, including moving existing Journey Builder journeys over.
  • Create personalized content using SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, HTML and CSS.
  • Handle Business Unit administration, covering permissions, deliverability, authentication and subscriber governance.
  • Troubleshoot data, campaign and platform issues, working with marketing, analytics, compliance, security and technology teams in Agile delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next or comparable platforms.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement tools such as Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, Data Extensions, SQL, AMPscript or Business Unit administration.
  • Experience with Data Cloud ingestion, data modeling, identity resolution, consent management, calculated insights, segmentation, activation or Data Spaces.
  • Experience building customer journeys, personalized communications, audience segments or marketing automation.
  • Experience with REST or SOAP APIs and enterprise data flows.
  • Experience with Git, source control, deployment practices and Agile or Scrum delivery.
  • Live in or near the designated Collaboration Hub(s) for this role.

Conditions

Compensation is set by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience and education, within the base pay range listed above. The pay range reflects labor costs across several U.S. markets.

The role includes eligibility for variable pay.

The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes applicants from all protected groups, including veterans and people with disabilities. Candidates who need an accommodation can ask at any stage.

Benefits

  • A compensation package and bonus plan.
  • Core benefits including medical, dental and vision, plus a 401K with matching.
  • Flexible work setup: remote, hybrid or in-office.
  • Flexible time off: volunteer time off, vacation, sick leave and 12 paid holidays.
  • The company operates in over 30 countries and has about 25,200 employees, working across financial services, healthcare, automotive, agribusiness and insurance.
