Sales Engineer

Description

This is a Sales Engineer role in the Nordic Sales Engineering team, based in Stockholm. You will help partners and customers choose the right solutions from the company's range and learn its products and the security industry from the inside.

The team sits within the Sales Engineering & Training organisation covering Northern and Eastern Europe. You will work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to give technical advice that helps partners and customers succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales engineering support to partners and customers.
• Build trusted advisor relationships that support sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Work with products, partners and customers every day, learning how the latest solutions are used, from security to industry projects.
• Focus mainly on the Stockholm area, with some assignments elsewhere in Sweden and the Nordics.
• Design solutions that fit customer needs and help partners with their project designs.
• Demonstrate, configure and set up solutions for events, demos and proofs of concept.
• Join customer meetings, trade shows, events and training sessions.
• Answer technical and product questions from partners and colleagues.
• Look after the showroom in Stockholm, keeping it current and inspiring.
• Keep up with industry developments and keep building your own skills.

Requirements

• A university degree, ideally in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years in a customer-facing role where you used your technical skills.
• Familiarity with networking, IP-based technologies or network infrastructure.
• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• A valid driving license.
• You are curious about technology and like working with people.
• You find out what customers need and help them choose the best solution.
• You explain technical topics clearly to different audiences and are comfortable presenting.
• You learn quickly, enjoy teamwork and want to grow in a role that mixes technology and business.
• Bonus: experience in a sales environment.
• Bonus: experience in the IT, CCTV or security industry.

Conditions

Hybrid role based in the Stockholm area, within commuting distance of the office in Kungsholmen.

Travel within Sweden for about 30% of your time, plus occasional trips to other Nordic countries.

Permanent employment.
