Sales Engineer

Description

We are hiring a Sales Engineer for the Nordic team in Lund, Sweden. You will help partners and customers choose the right solutions from the company's range, and you will learn the products and the security industry from the inside.

The team sits within the Sales Engineering and Training organisation for Northern and Eastern Europe. You will work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to give technical advice that helps partners and customers succeed.

The company is fast-growing. It makes solutions for video surveillance, access control, intercom and audio, and employs around 6,000 people in over 50 countries.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales engineering support to partners and customers, acting as a trusted advisor who helps grow sales and customer satisfaction.
• Design solutions that fit customer needs and support partners with their project designs.
• Demonstrate, configure and set up solutions for events, demos and proofs of concept.
• Join customer meetings, trade shows, events and training sessions.
• Answer technical and product questions from partners and colleagues.
• Learn the latest solutions and how they are used across security and industry projects through your daily work with products, partners and customers.
• Keep your skills current with industry developments.
• Focus mainly on the Swedish market, with some assignments in other Nordic countries.

Requirements

• You are curious about technology and like working with people.
• You find out what customers need and help them choose the best solution.
• You explain technical topics clearly to different audiences and are comfortable giving presentations.
• You learn quickly, work well in a team, and want to grow in a role that combines technology and business.
• A university degree, ideally in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years in a customer-facing role where you used your technical skills.
• Familiarity with networking, IP-based technologies and network infrastructure.
• Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English.
• A valid driving license.
• Bonus: experience in a sales environment.
• Bonus: experience from the IT, CCTV or security industry.

Conditions

Permanent employment.

Hybrid role based at the headquarters in Lund.

Travel within Sweden for about 30% of your time, plus occasional trips to other Nordic countries.
