Description

A small, high-impact team is building the next generation of AI-enabled commercial tools on Salesforce, MuleSoft and agentic AI. The role suits an engineer who can execute deeply on the technical side and also understands sales workflows, turning complicated seller journeys into simple, smart experiences.

The company is a publicly traded global med-tech business with about $20B in revenue, focused on diagnostic and digital solutions. It has more than 50,000 employees in over 160 countries and serves over 1 billion patients worldwide. It was founded in 2023 as a spin-off from GE and pairs a long track record of innovation with the pace of a newly public, growth-focused company.

Responsibilities

  • Build and configure solutions with Apex, Flow, Python, the REST Query API, Agentforce script, Lightning Actions and HXL, following security, change-management and release controls.
  • Design and tune multi-step operational workflows in AFO, including agent reasoning, tool-calling logic and conditional loops.
  • Implement agent-to-agent communication standards and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so that context, task hand-offs and tool execution work across specialized AI agents.
  • Apply your knowledge of enterprise B2B sales processes, from lead-to-opportunity through account and contact management, opportunity lifecycle, pipeline, forecasting and sales execution, to build scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Understand the needs of Sales Reps and Sales Managers, such as account preparation, opportunity progression, customer engagement and next-best actions, and turn them into intuitive AI-assisted workflows that raise seller productivity.
  • Use AI development tools such as Claude and Kiro in your daily work to go from architecture sketch to deployable code in days.
  • Design, build and maintain the data artifacts that keep Agentforce solutions grounded in accurate, real-time enterprise data.
  • Build secure, scalable data integration patterns that connect Agentforce to many enterprise applications and let AI agents communicate.
  • Track down problems such as ingestion failures, mapping defects, schema drift, identity anomalies, query issues, activation latency, API errors, permission problems and consumption issues. Work methodically with logs and query evidence, and separate product behavior from configuration error.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, including at least 2 AI, data engineering or enterprise integration systems deployed to production.
  • Fluent in Apex or JavaScript, and in Agentforce script. You are willing to learn the other languages as needed.
  • Practical experience with API design (REST, SOAP, webhooks) and modern agent protocols such as MCP, tool calling or event-driven messaging.
  • Experience with process orchestration and API-led connectivity, using MuleSoft or custom middleware to link AI agents with legacy ERP systems.
  • Experience building secure service-to-service integrations using OAuth, SAML or event-driven architectures, and a working knowledge of MCP and agent-to-agent communication.
  • Ability to build secure data access and test it thoroughly, covering permissions, entitlements, consent, user context, restricted populations and negative test cases.
  • Methodical problem diagnosis using logs and query evidence, separating product behavior from configuration errors, and documenting results so they can be reproduced.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, prompt tuning and building knowledge base retrievers for enterprise data.
  • Preferred: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred: relevant certifications in Salesforce Agentforce and Claude.
  • Preferred: experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, such as Agentforce Specialist, Data Cloud, Apex, Flow or headless architectures.
  • Nice to have: MuleSoft Agentfabric experience.
