  • Take part in technical design discussions and reviews, bringing in new technologies and methods to improve the product.
  • Learn the clinical domain, weigh design options, and help build the product roadmap and implementation plan.
  • Work with geographically spread teams to push software development forward.
  • Keep to quality system and regulatory requirements, upholding high standards of safety and efficacy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM field, plus at least 7 years of software development experience.

  • Proficiency in MFC user interface programming.
  • Experience building Windows desktop applications with Qt,.NET MAUI or similar UI frameworks.
  • Experience using C for feature development.
  • Fluent use of company-approved AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for software development, and understanding of how to use or build AI skills for it.
  • Experience taking features from design through implementation and verification.
  • Experience with multithreaded, real-time or performance-sensitive software.
  • Experience in UI design and coding.
  • Knowledge of GDI and Direct2D.
  • Basic image processing and understanding of video formats for acquiring data from different video sources.
  • Experience with Visual Studio and version control tools such as Git.
  • Ability to work within regulated quality systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to discuss a wide range of technical and operational topics with subject matter experts.
  • Desired: master's degree in computer science.
