Renewable Solutions Designer

Description

The company is a large electrical wholesaler that distributes electrical and energy-efficient products across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, and it is growing its PV and solar sales through its branch network.

This is a hands-on commercial role supporting branches and customers with technical product expertise on renewables.

The team is looking for an experienced renewables solutions designer who takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• You will produce PV and solar bills of materials and quotations for branch teams and customers.
• You will advise on product selection, system components and renewable energy solutions.
• You will help identify suitable PV, battery storage, mounting, inverter and related products.
• You will make sure recommendations follow current regulations, manufacturer requirements and the company's approved product range.
• You will help branches with customer opportunities that need technical product knowledge.
• You will keep up with new technologies, legislation and market changes in renewables.
