Description

The company builds autonomous defense platforms, with a focus on scalable, decentralized defense systems for the United States and its allies.

Founded in 2023, the company has about 350 employees and is growing quickly.

The team is hiring a recruiting coordinator to support its hiring as it scales.

Responsibilities

  • Run the onsite interview day, preparing rooms and presentation setups, greeting candidates when they arrive, and acting as their main contact throughout the visit.
  • Schedule interviews for candidates and internal teams, sort out calendar conflicts, and adjust quickly when plans change at the last minute.
  • Arrange candidate travel, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation, and handle expense reimbursements.
  • Keep candidate records current in the applicant tracking system and chase interview feedback so hiring decisions keep moving.
  • Plan and run recruiting events, university visits, and team hiring initiatives, including the logistics and candidate communication.
  • Refine recruiting workflows, scheduling processes, and candidate preparation materials as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, administration, communications, or a STEM field.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in recruiting coordination, administrative support, hospitality, event coordination, or a similar detail-focused role.
  • Stay organized while juggling multiple interview schedules, competing priorities, and last-minute changes.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, and make candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers feel welcome.
  • Manage calendars in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and pick up recruiting and scheduling tools quickly.
  • Spot problems early, anticipate needs, and follow through with little supervision.
  • Work onsite at the Huntington Beach headquarters and handle sensitive candidate information discreetly.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), a refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or an asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State, to comply with U.S. government export regulations. See the ITAR information here.
  • Be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
  • Preferred: Have coordinated interviews or supported a recruiting team in a fast-paced startup or technical environment.
  • Preferred: Know Greenhouse or another applicant tracking system.
  • Preferred: Have arranged candidate travel, built itineraries, and processed reimbursements.
  • Preferred: Have prepared conference rooms, presentation equipment, and video conferencing tools.
  • Preferred: Have a record of improving scheduling processes and making recruiting operations more efficient.

Conditions

The pay range is $30 - $38 USD.

Base pay is an estimate based on many factors, and actual offers may differ depending on experience, education, training, critical skills, and business needs. Highly competitive equity grants are part of most offers and count toward total compensation.

The role is based onsite at the Huntington Beach headquarters.

The role may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws, including the EAR and ITAR. Any offer may depend on authorization to receive controlled software or technology without sponsorship for an export license.

Benefits

  • Stock options or equity in the company, so you share in its growth.
  • Performance-based bonuses tied to both individual and company results.
  • Healthcare, dental, and vision plans, retirement savings, and paid time off.
  • Funding for continuing education, training, and career growth.
  • Openness about compensation tiers and how pay decisions are made.
