Description

The company is looking for a Technical Recruiter based in Montréal.

You will take charge of hiring across Canada and the U.S., filling roles in software engineering, cloud and DevOps, cybersecurity, data and AI, SAP, business analysis, project management, and other consulting and corporate functions.

The pace is quick: volume is high, deadlines are short, and priorities move with client demand.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Operations, and work with hiring managers and delivery leads across the business. Ownership starts on day one, you will have direct access to leadership, and you can help shape how talent acquisition works instead of following a settled process.

The company is a European leader in consulting, digital services, and software development. It helps clients with digital transformation by combining deep industry knowledge with new technologies. It employs 50,000 people in nearly 30 countries and reported €5.1 billion in revenue for 2022.

The team is friendly, collaborative, and inclusive.

Responsibilities

  • Locate people who are not actively looking by reaching out directly and using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray searches, referrals, alumni networks, GitHub, Meetups, and tech communities.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for roles that recur or are hard to fill, ahead of demand.
  • Write outreach messages that get replies from in-demand technical talent.
  • Map the market, benchmark salaries, and assess talent availability in Canada and the U.S.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and campus recruiting.
  • Run each hire from intake to close: sourcing strategy, interviews, assessments, references, offers, and hiring.
  • Hold intake meetings to set role requirements, key qualifications, pay ranges, and timelines.
  • Run competency-based and technical pre-screen interviews covering skills, motivation, pay expectations, and work authorization.
  • Prepare shortlists with documented candidate profiles and clear recommendations.
  • Keep candidates and hiring managers informed so the process feels smooth to both.
  • Mostly hire for permanent full-time roles, with some contract hiring.
  • Keep ATS records accurate and audit-ready under Canadian and U.S. employment and privacy rules.
  • Support pre-boarding from offer acceptance to Day 1 by arranging equipment, system access, payroll, and workspace with IT, Finance, HR, and hiring managers.
  • Run Day 1 onboarding and orientation, and maintain onboarding materials and checklists.
  • Hold 30-day and 90-day check-ins with new hires.
  • Act as the on-site contact for the Montréal office on in-office days.
  • Handle office logistics such as supplies, access badges, and courier services.
  • Work with building management, IT, and outside vendors to resolve requests quickly.
  • Help with internal events, team activities, and client visits.
  • Take on ad hoc admin projects and process improvement work with the Senior Manager, Operations.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Proven experience recruiting technical or IT candidates.
  • Experience handling high-volume work across several requisitions at once, under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365 tools: Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree in human resources, business administration, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
  • Fluent in French and English, spoken and written.

Conditions

The role is hybrid and based in Montréal.

The company is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and works to keep its workplace inclusive.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus an annual performance bonus.
  • Health insurance.
  • Sick days and personal days, plus 3 weeks of vacation.
  • Monthly transportation allowance.
  • Company equipment to support your work.
  • Flexible benefits you can adjust to your needs.
  • Career progression, plus training and development in a supportive setting.
