Description

This Senior Associate role on the campus talent acquisition team supports how the company attracts students and early career professionals across Canada.

You will work with internal stakeholders and support attraction initiatives that link business needs to emerging talent.

The role combines coordination, collaboration and delivery of recruiting initiatives that raise the company's profile with early talent and build routes into the firm.

You will help grow partnerships with universities and non-profit organizations, widen the reach of the company's talent pipelines and spot strong candidates early in their careers.

The position covers work that was previously done by a valued team member, so it keeps the team's delivery standards in place.

Responsibilities

  • Help carry out the attraction strategy for students and early career professionals across the company's Canadian operations, running targeted initiatives that draw in, engage and convert strong candidates.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders and hiring teams, learn their hiring needs and support talent acquisition activities that match them.
  • Support partnerships with universities and non-profit organizations to widen the company's reach, grow talent pipelines and engage promising candidates early.
  • Work with colleagues to keep delivery consistent and high quality across markets, and coordinate the selection process for your assigned client groups.
  • Promote a diversity-focused approach to attraction by supporting outreach that reaches students and early career talent from underrepresented backgrounds.
  • Act as a responsive first contact for stakeholders, raise issues when needed and help teams make and act on timely decisions.
  • Work alongside an Acceleration Centre team member through the full recruitment cycle and help keep the team positive and collaborative.
  • Look for ways to improve recruitment processes, stakeholder experience and candidate outcomes using systems, AI, automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Some experience in early careers, campus or student recruitment, and an interest in attraction work that serves business needs.
  • Knowledge of the early careers education landscape, including universities, student programs and key talent pipelines across Canada.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to work with internal teams, stakeholders and external organizations.
  • Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, and an interest in using systems, AI and automation tools to work more efficiently and improve recruitment results.
  • A curious mindset and a willingness to find ways to improve workflows, streamline operations and improve the candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • A collaborative, agile approach and the ability to adjust to shifting priorities while working across teams and markets.
  • A developing business mindset, combined with a commitment to giving candidates an excellent experience.
  • Fluency in English and French, as you will support or work with English-speaking clients, colleagues and stakeholders during your employment with the company.
  • An understanding of the company's Lines of Service and the CPA program is an asset.
