Description

You will be a strategic talent partner and consultant to your customer group, finding and placing top talent for current and future roles in one or more business units.

You will help set sourcing, interviewing and hiring practices that fit business and customer needs, and push hiring work forward through timelines, diversity hiring, recruiting programs, interview events, new manager training and long-term pipeline building.

This is a commercial contract recruiting role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process for the company's surgical systems in new hospitals and in upgrades at existing hospitals.
  • Meet with hiring managers to learn current and future needs, the detail of each role profile, and what the market can supply.
  • Build working relationships with hiring managers so hiring runs smoothly, and advise them on staffing practices, trends, issues and challenges.
  • Work with client groups and support teams to spot needs early, design recruiting approaches, and run every stage of hiring, including closing conversations and paperwork with candidates.
  • Suggest ways to improve the process, then lead or carry out the projects that put them in place.
  • Use all available data to build a clear case, persuade stakeholders and drive change.
  • Present at meetings and training sessions to help new and experienced leaders get better at interviewing and hiring.
  • Ask probing questions to pin down what a role really needs, then build sourcing strategies based on market data that keep strong candidates coming in.
  • Find and develop candidate sources through networking, online sourcing, employee referrals, job and trade fairs, professional associations, recruitment marketing and other channels.
  • Reach passive job seekers using the full range of recruiting methods and resources.
  • Make operational and strategic decisions that shape recruiting plans and keep them aligned with company goals.
  • Keep sourcing and screening moving on schedule.
  • Manage the candidate experience and advocate for candidates.
  • Propose and roll out ongoing improvements to the company's recruiting efforts.
  • Actively drive continuous improvement within the Staffing team.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of recruiting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience running full lifecycle recruiting.
  • A proven record of high volume, high quality hiring across several skill sets.
  • Good judgment in choosing methods, techniques and criteria for evaluating candidates.
  • Commitment to the shared purpose and goals of the Staffing team.
  • Working proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
  • Experience with an ERP, talent management or applicant tracking system is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and results driven, able to handle several requisitions or projects at once.
  • Careful attention to detail, with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Clear verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to lead and influence others constructively.
  • A strong focus on internal customer service.
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable handling difficult conversations.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.
  • A track record of building and keeping strong relationships.
  • Experience working with a wide range of personalities and levels of staff.
  • Good listening, fact-finding, conflict management and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative and make or recommend decisions as needed.

Conditions

You may be required to show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19, depending on the role and the company or its customers.

Roles that fall under U.S. export controls may need a U.S. export license, which can take 3 to 6+ months, or a Technology Control Plan, which typically adds 2 weeks, for nationals of countries under embargo or sanctions.

Where export controls apply, any offer depends on an approved export license and/or an executed Technology Control Plan before the start date, and candidates will be told of any steps required.

The company considers applicants with arrest and conviction records in line with fair chance laws.

The role may be filled at a different job level than advertised, depending on business need and the selected candidate's experience, knowledge and skills.

Pay is set mainly by the job level the role is filled at and the candidate's qualifications, in line with applicable law.
