Description

Why qlub

The end of a great meal shouldn't be the slow part. Waiting for the check, finding someone to take payment, splitting a bill by hand. qlub removes that friction. Guests scan a QR code and pay in seconds. No app, no download, no waiting.

From Pay-at-Table and Digital Menus to Order-and-Pay, Payment Links, and SoftPOS terminals, we handle the full payment experience so restaurants can focus on what they do best: great hospitality. Less friction means faster table turnover, smoother operations, and higher profit.

We're a fast-scaling fintech backed by Mastercard, Mubadala, e& and Shorooq. $72M raised, live across multiple markets worldwide, and headcount doubled in the past year. We're building the teams that take us to the next stage.

Responsibilities

  • We're scaling fast, and hiring is how we win. As our Business Recruiter, you'll run full-cycle hiring across our global business and GTM roles, and flex into technical and product when we need it. You'll work shoulder to shoulder with hiring managers, find the people who move the needle, and close them. This is build-from-scratch, move-fast, own-your-outcomes work. If that gets you going, keep reading.
  • You'll work directly with the leader of qlub's global talent acquisition function, whose career spans Silicon Valley and New York City, with experience building recruiting functions from the ground up at Robinhood, Upstart, and high-growth startups backed by Sequoia, Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst. You'll own searches from day one, learn the strategies behind hiring in some of the world's most competitive markets, and get hands-on mentorship that will accelerate your growth as a recruiter.
  • What you'll own
  • Own priority business and GTM searches end to end, from intake to signed offer
  • Keep every search moving and every hiring manager in the loop, start to finish
  • Drive your sourcing mix, about 60% outbound, 30% inbound, 10% referral. The best talent isn't looking. You go get it anyway
  • Run your funnel with AI: sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, reporting
  • Move the numbers that matter: time to hire, offer acceptance, pipeline health

Requirements

  • You have a top 1% mentality. You know the difference between a top 1% and a top 10% hire, and you know how to close the top 1%
  • You move fast and make strong calls with incomplete information
  • You take real ownership and think like an operator, not a coordinator
  • You think like a talent engineer. You build your own systems, workflows, and automations in Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity instead of just running process
  • You're at home in a modern recruiting stack like Ashby, Gem, Juicebox, and Metaview, and you ramp on new tools fast
  • You're ambitious and low ego. You want to be great at this and you take the feedback to get there
  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting
  • A real track record hiring commercial or GTM roles: sales, BD, marketing, ops
  • Experience recruiting in a high-growth startup
  • Proven outbound sourcing, with pipeline you've built yourself
  • You've run your own searches and owned hiring manager relationships directly
  • Fluent in English
  • Global or multi-region hiring experience
  • What to Expect: Our Interview Process
  • Hiring Manager Interview - Get to know each other and dive into your recruiting experience.
  • Case Study - Walk us through your approach to end-to-end recruiting, from intake to offer.
  • Cross-Functional Interview - Meet a key stakeholder and explore how you collaborate with hiring teams.
  • Culture & Values Interview - Explore how your working style, values, and approach to ownership align with qlub's culture.

Benefits

  • Real ownership over products that impact millions of diners and thousands of restaurants globally
  • The opportunity to solve challenging problems in payments, hospitality, and customer experience
  • A fast-moving environment where great ideas quickly become reality
  • Close collaboration with experienced operators, builders, and industry experts
  • A chance to leave a visible mark on one of the fastest-growing restaurant technology companies globally
  • Ready to build? Join us and help shape how the world pays at the table. If that excites you, apply now.
