Project Manager

Description

The company supplies products but many of its deliveries work more like plant or installation projects, so this role takes on real scope.

You will manage complex projects from start to finish, aiming for on-time, on-budget delivery at high quality while building strong client relationships.

The role is a smaller-team position in the project management group for customer deliveries, with daily work alongside local and global colleagues.

You can expect to take on significant responsibility soon after joining, along with broad decision-making authority.

The post is based at a team producing surge arresters in Ludvika.

Responsibilities

• Lead several projects at once, covering scope, planning, execution, monitoring and control, from kickoff to closure.
• Build and keep up detailed plans for schedules, resources, risks and communication.
• Own project budgets and financial results, keep to targets, and report regularly to stakeholders.
• Spot, assess and reduce project risks and issues, and set up contingency plans when needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, outside stakeholders and subcontractors to deliver the project and keep clients satisfied.
• Report progress and results to senior management and clients, make sure policies and industry rules are followed, help improve ways of working, and support junior team members.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or project management.
• At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally in energy, industrial or technology settings, including responsibility for budgets above 5 MSEK.
• A solid grasp of project management methods.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to juggle several priorities under pressure.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Nice to have: PMP or a similar certification.
• Nice to have: Swedish, which is a strong advantage.

Conditions

The job is in Ludvika, Dalarna County, Sweden, and is full time.

This is not a remote role.
