Senior Technical Project Manager

The role is in San Mateo, CA. The employer is Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC.

You will lead planning and delivery of advanced SDK components for PlayStation platforms, covering graphics, audio/video processing, and compiler technologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering Management, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent, plus two (2) years of experience coordinating with product and cross-functional teams.
• Experience estimating story points, running Scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives, and planning capacity and sprint releases.
• Experience running sync-up meetings and reporting to stakeholders on trends, insights and forecasts for capacity, release timelines and project performance using data analysis.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project artifacts such as stand-up notes, project plans, retrospectives, release calendars and release checklists.
• Experience spotting risks like resource gaps, scope creep and critical-path slips, and raising them with stakeholders quickly.
• Experience documenting project discussions, groomed and prioritised product backlogs with product owners and engineering managers, and tracked risk and performance through sprint planning.
• Experience documenting processes and maintaining traceability matrices, technical specification documents and regression test suites.

The base pay range may vary with the hybrid working policy. Individual pay depends on job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience and location.

Base pay is set using competitive market benchmarks and geographic location.

The estimated base pay range is $233,459.00 to $287,200.00 per year.
