Description

Hey!

Imagine amateur football finally had the platform it deserves.

Every weekend, millions of people write their own personal football stories – on pitches, in clubs and on the sidelines. We believe this passion deserves a digital home too.

That's exactly what we're building every single day.

tl;dr

We’re looking for a hands-on all-rounder who runs our partnership with a global sports brand: from management reporting to strategic projects and our European expansion.

Main information

Start: Immediately

Location: Cologne

Workload: Full-time

Team: Teamwear

Is this a match?

The most important basics – so we both know if it could work.

Location: You can see yourself in our Cologne office (Belgisches Viertel) and are able to come in at least 3 days a week.

Experience: You bring 2 to 5 years of experience in consulting, strategy & operations, BizOps, key account or project management, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

Languages are no problem: You speak German and English fluently.

You know football: You're genuinely interested in grassroots football and have a feel for what moves this community.

Startup spirit: You'd rather shape things than just tick boxes - even when that means figuring stuff out without a finished roadmap.

Responsibilities

  • This is how you move our mission forward every day.
  • You’re the engine behind our brand partnership. You prepare our partner meetings and decks, coordinate day to day with your counterpart and make sure our Head of Teamwear walks in with a clear story and recommendations.
  • You own our partner reporting. From the monthly update to the quarterly business review and the half-yearly market share report, you turn data on tens of thousands of grassroots teams into a clear story with recommendations.
  • You drive strategic projects. Market and competitor analyses, upsell potentials and market analyses for our European expansion (France, UK, Spain, Italy).
  • You drive your own Key Results and keep track of the department’s KPIs, so our Head of Teamwear always knows where we stand.
  • You steer a team of >5 working students and mini-jobbers. You set priorities, split the work and make sure the quality is right.
  • In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also:
  • Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for the Head of Teamwear and the founders
  • You report to our Head of Teamwear and work directly with our CEO
  • What you bring to the team
  • We're not looking for a perfect CV. But you should recognise yourself in these points.
  • Hands-on & proactive: You don’t wait for a brief. You spot what’s missing, build the first version yourself and get it moving.
  • Structured thinking: You break messy questions into clear steps and land on a recommendation.
  • Organised: You keep deadlines, your own tasks and a small team’s work on track at the same time.
  • Presenting: You build management-ready decks that turn numbers into a clear story, and you present them confidently to our founders and team.
  • Stakeholder management: You align founders, colleagues and an external partner, and you get input from people who don’t report to you.
  • Fast pace & startup mindset: You enjoy switching between a monthly deadline and an ad-hoc request, and you’d rather ship at 80% than wait for 100%.
  • Tools: Advanced Google Sheets / Excel and Slides/ Pitch/ PowerPoint, Notion, and AI tools in your daily work.
  • Good to know
  • We want you to know what this role really looks like from day one.
  • This is a hands-on role at the intersection of partner management, reporting and strategic projects. It is not a data engineering role: no coding, no pipelines. A data team supports you on the technical side.
  • Things move fast. One day you prepare the story for a major brand partner’s management, the next you steer a small team. If both excite you, you’re in exactly the right place.
  • Bonus
  • Not a must – but this'll definitely earn you extra points.
  • Experience in sporting goods, teamwear or team sports
  • Basic SQL or a BI tool
  • The Prematch Setup
  • We want you to love joining us - and still love being part of the team a long time from now.
  • Employee participation (VSOP) - directly benefit from the company’s success.
  • Modern tech setup - We provide the tools and devices you need to be productive.
  • AI-powered work - We use AI tools to work smarter and more efficiently, and provide you with the tools you need to make the most of AI in your day-to-day work.
  • 27 vacation days per year - For your rest and to recharge. Plus special arrangements if you’re a parent, so you can better balance family and relaxation.
  • Remote work - depending on your distance to the office, you work 1–3 days a week onsite and the rest flexibly remote - whatever suits you best. Tech & Product roles sometimes offer 100% remote.
  • Three cool offices in Cologne, Berlin, and London - true startup vibes to work and grow together. Want to visit another office? We support that too!
  • Remote, even from afar - Whether it’s a week of sunshine abroad or a few days with family - we allow flexible work from outside your usual location.
  • Team events at our locations - Whether after work in Cologne, Berlin, or London: we regularly bring teams together to connect and grow stronger.
  • Offsites with the whole team - Four days out of the daily grind with the entire team: trips, brainstorming, onsite collaboration, and real team spirit.
  • Still here? Sounds like a pretty good match.
  • If you've made it this far, we hope we've managed to show you one thing: how we work, what we believe in and why this role at PREMATCH is something special.
  • Maybe this is exactly the moment you've been waiting for: a team that thinks big, a vision that actually moves things and the chance to help reshape amateur football digitally – together with us.
  • Now it's your turn.
  • Hit Apply now and upload your CV - that’s all we need to get started.
  • Tell us a bit more about yourself in our short application form - and you’re in the game!
