Project Manager Infrastructure

You will join the DPS business line (Digital Platform Services), which works in the industrial, life sciences, public and finance sectors. DPS focuses on core IT, from front end to back end, keeps client processes running, and helps clients control costs and keep platforms current.

The role centres on major modernization programs: moving enterprise email and messaging platforms to the cloud, setting up disaster recovery (DR) solutions, and renewing existing infrastructure services and platforms.

The company is looking for an experienced infrastructure project manager to lead strategic IT infrastructure transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate infrastructure transformation projects from start to finish, keeping them within scope, budget and timeline.
• Define objectives, scope, governance, planning, timelines, deliverables and reporting structures.
• Monitor budgets, resources, schedules, risks, assumptions, dependencies and overall project performance.
• Run several infrastructure projects at once and keep them aligned with business goals and organizational priorities.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams through each stage of the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project business cases.
• Keep stakeholders informed through communication and reporting at every level.
• Spot project risks and issues early and resolve them, giving decision-makers what they need to choose well.
• Support the preparation of RFPs, technical specifications and procurement documents for modernization initiatives.
• Work with technical teams, IT vendor managers, vendors and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• At least 10 years of project management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing infrastructure projects.
• Experience preparing requirement analyses that separate user requirements from technical requirements.
• Experience managing and supervising teams.
• Knowledge of ITIL and Agile principles.
• Awareness of infrastructure technologies such as Azure, cloud, firewalls, VMware, Hyper-V, Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Ability to motivate team members, build team spirit and help people grow.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the judgement to reach sound conclusions and pick an approach suited to the customer's needs.
• Strong commitment to keeping project administration in good order.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Certification in project management, e.g. Prince2, Agile or ITIL, is a plus.
