QA Specialist with German

Description

The company delivers software solutions to clients, and this role helps make sure they are high quality and reliable.

You will take part across the software development lifecycle, helping with test planning, test execution, defect handling and general QA work.

Depending on the project, the team works in agile or traditional delivery, and you will coordinate with customers, developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to get releases out smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Write and keep up test plans, test cases and test documents, using project and business requirements as the basis.
• Judge how testable a system is, help define acceptance criteria and contribute to QA strategy.
• Plan, run and record manual tests.
• Help with or carry out test automation, including building and running automated test scenarios.
• Log and follow up on defects, keeping them traceable through the whole testing cycle.
• Review test outcomes and report clearly on software quality and whether a release is ready.
• Write and maintain user-facing and testing documentation.
• Discuss test requirements, results and release plans with customers and internal colleagues.
• Help improve testing processes, methods and quality standards over time.

Requirements

• Experience in software QA and testing, mainly manual testing, test automation, or both.
• A solid grasp of software development and testing methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a careful eye for detail.
• Ability to work on your own in a responsible way while contributing to a team.
• Clear communication and the confidence to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in fast-changing project settings where priorities shift.
• Fluent written and spoken German is required.
• Good English for working in an international setting.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience with, or understanding of, accessibility testing.
• Experience using AI tools for testing.
• Experience testing applications in CI/CD pipelines.
• Some exposure to Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of API, integration or end-to-end testing.
• ISTQB or another relevant testing certification.
• Experience on international client projects.
