Product Owner (Tax & Accounting)

The company is hiring a Product Owner for its Tax and Accounting products to join the team.

This role takes on more advanced work across the life cycle of the company's technology products. You will help shape product design, feature development and strategic planning, and your input will help the products meet market needs and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed product roadmaps and timelines.
• Research markets and users in depth to guide feature decisions.
• Write up product requirements and specifications.
• Work with design, development, Backoffice, customer support and sales teams to keep the product aligned.
• Track product performance and propose improvements.
• Oversee the rollout of small feature enhancements.
• Run beta tests and collect user feedback.
• Support product launches and the work that follows them.
• Spot product risks and plan how to reduce them.
• Help set the product strategy and long-term vision.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting and tax.
• Skilled at analysing and documenting complex product needs.
• Able to conduct thorough market analysis that shapes product strategy.
• Able to build and maintain detailed product roadmaps.
• Comfortable interpreting data to support decisions.
• Basic understanding of design principles and user experience, including UX and UI.
• Able to manage tasks and milestones with project management tools.
• Able to identify risks and develop ways to mitigate them.
• Able to explain technical requirements and constraints clearly to others.
