You will own the full product lifecycle of Time & Attendance solutions across the company's global operations, keeping platforms reliable and compliant for tens of thousands of employees worldwide.

The role is part of the Digital Delivery & Operations unit within Digital People Services, which supports the People & Culture strategy. The portfolio covers Workday Absence Management and several regional and local systems.

The position sits between HR operations and digital technology. Accurate time tracking and compliant absence management across many countries are central to the work.

The company is a global biopharmaceutical business operating in some 100 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead change for system upgrades, regulatory updates and process changes, covering release notes, test coordination and adoption tracking.
  • Drive operational quality through incident handling, performance monitoring and ongoing improvements across connected HR platforms.
  • Make product decisions for Time & Attendance applications, including budget planning, service requests and management of the global portfolio.
  • Configure and maintain the Workday Absence Management module yourself, including leave plans, time off plans and absence types for several countries.
  • Act as the main contact between HR, Legal, Payroll and Digital teams, communicating clearly and setting priorities.
  • Manage third-party time and attendance vendors, covering SLAs, performance reviews and contract negotiations.
  • Make sure working time rules, labor laws, collective agreements and data privacy requirements, including GDPR, are met in every supported country.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR technology, time and attendance systems or digital product management in multinational settings, including managing Time & Attendance solutions at regional or global scale.
  • Workday Absence certification and its prerequisite, Core HCM certification, are essential. Candidates without certification may be considered if they have many years working strictly in Workday Absence. Candidates with general HCM experience and only occasional Absence configuration will not be considered.
  • At least one full-cycle Absence implementation where you worked as an independent configuration consultant or subject matter expert. Solid knowledge of Workday HCM integrations and time-to-payroll data flows, ideally across several countries.
  • At least one year of hands-on Tier 3 (L3) support work in the Workday Absence area.
  • Ability to engage and influence HR, Legal, Finance and IT stakeholders in matrix organizations, with experience managing third-party vendors and SLAs.
  • Understanding of working time rules across several countries, including local directives, shift regulations, collective agreements and data privacy frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile methods, backlog management and oversight of the full product lifecycle.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems or Business Administration. Workday Core HCM Admin and Time Tracking certifications are required.
  • Strong English communication for global teamwork. Working French is a bonus.
