The work spans machine learning systems, large-scale media workflows, metadata standards, and enterprise integrations.

You will be hands-on, bringing product judgment, technical depth, and follow-through. You will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, and business stakeholders so that the product delivers clear, dependable value tied to company goals.

The company is a global media and entertainment business that makes film, television, and streaming content and runs theme parks, consumer products, and experiences. It is a subsidiary of a larger communications company.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, Product, and Scrum teams to scope, build, and ship GenAI-powered capabilities.
  • Learn how stakeholders work and what they need, then write clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Own one or more product areas from initial discovery through delivery and ongoing iteration.
  • Build and maintain an outcome-based roadmap with cross-functional teams, based on customer insight, technical limits, and business priorities.
  • Test products for functionality, accuracy, and performance, and support demos and product reviews.
  • Own and maintain features after launch, using feedback to keep improving them.
  • Drive delivery of near-term and mid-term roadmap priorities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors across the full lifecycle of each GenAI use case.
  • Prepare and present updates, documentation, metrics, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Weigh tradeoffs between model quality, performance, cost, and latency with the technical team.
  • Track emerging AI, LLM, and machine learning technology and relevant vendor offerings.
  • Help identify reusable GenAI patterns and capabilities for future products.
  • Find ways to improve product capabilities, streamline operations, and gain efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide junior Product Managers through feedback, collaboration, and shared work.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, product development, or a related technical role.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager on complex, technology-driven products.
  • Ability to turn technical concepts and system behavior into clear product requirements for technical and non-technical readers.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data science teams on AI or data-driven products.
  • Strong organization, with the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving setting.
  • Working knowledge of agile methods and current product development practices.
  • Desired: strong collaboration skills and the ability to build good working relationships across teams.
  • Desired: advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Desired: self-starter who is comfortable in an evolving, ambiguous problem space.
  • Desired: familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Airtable.
  • Desired: proficiency with Lucidchart, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Desired: experience in the media and entertainment industry.
