Description

The company is the company, which brings anime and manga to a fan community. It serves over 100 million fans in more than 200 countries and territories, through streaming, theatrical releases, games, merchandise and events.

This is a Staff Technical Product Manager role in Enterprise Technology. You will own the technical product direction and lifecycle for one or more enterprise technology domains, working with Business teams and Engineering to define system requirements, set the roadmap with the business process owners, and keep the technology up to pace with a growing global business.

This is a senior individual contributor role with wide influence over complex systems and business processes. You bring deep domain knowledge, technical depth and product judgment, and help set how Technical Product operates across Enterprise Technology. You are expected to use AI and automation in your own work and to find where they add real value in your domain.

Responsibilities

  • Own one or more enterprise systems from end to end, covering roadmap, backlog, priorities, requirements and long-term health.
  • Work with cross-functional business partners to turn operational goals into functional, data, API and platform requirements that engineering can build.
  • Be the single accountable owner for how your systems perform in production. Hold the system knowledge the organization relies on, decide what a problem means for the roadmap, and determine when Engineering must be involved.
  • Stay hands-on with your systems so you can analyze data, investigate issues on your own, spot recurring operational patterns, and turn diagnostics into roadmap priorities.
  • Follow software partner roadmaps, identify needed features, handle vendor issues, and keep external updates aligned with internal plans.
  • Measure product impact and drive ongoing improvement by tracking adoption, platform health, support ticket trends and core business outcomes, using them to justify future roadmap expansion.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including significant time in technical product management, enterprise systems or technology product ownership, with at least 3 years at senior or principal level.
  • Proven record of owning the roadmap and full lifecycle of complex enterprise systems, including upgrades, vendor changes and adoption, not just launches.
  • Solid technical knowledge of APIs, integrations, data, cloud platforms and enterprise applications, and the skill to write requirements that engineers can implement.
  • Able to work directly with data and systems: SQL or equivalent, reading logs, and reproducing and diagnosing issues.
  • Experience making prioritization and product decisions across many stakeholders, dependencies and competing business needs, while keeping a clear line between what the system must do and how it is built.
  • Hands-on use of AI-assisted tools in product work, and a willingness to bring new capabilities into requirements, analysis, documentation and daily work.
  • Experience as the accountable owner of a system and the single point of contact for its users, diagnosing issues well enough to know whether an engineering change is needed.
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders and technical teams across a global organization without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience with compliance-sensitive or audit-controlled systems.
  • Experience with large-scale integrations, integration platforms or data workflows.
  • Experience in media, entertainment or streaming.
  • Background in engineering, systems analysis, platform administration or another hands-on technical discipline.
