Description

The company is hiring a Technical Product Manager for its AI Content and Media Product team, which sits within Operations & Technology.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role. You will need product judgment, technical fluency and strong execution, and you will work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management and business stakeholders to deliver reliable value that supports business goals.

The company is a media and entertainment business with film, television, streaming, news and sports brands, theme park destinations and consumer products. It is a subsidiary of Comcast Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Own one or more product areas, taking work from discovery through delivery and later iteration.
  • Learn how stakeholders work and what they need, then write clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Work with Engineering, Data Science, Program Management, Product and Scrum teams to scope, build and ship GenAI-powered capabilities.
  • Maintain an outcome-based roadmap shaped by customer insight, technical limits and business priorities, and drive it toward near- and mid-term goals.
  • Test products for functionality, accuracy and performance, and support demos and product reviews.
  • Own features after launch and use feedback to keep improving them.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors across the full GenAI use case lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present updates, documentation, metrics and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Weigh tradeoffs between model quality, performance, cost and latency alongside technical teams.
  • Follow emerging AI, LLM and machine learning technologies and vendor offerings.
  • Help identify reusable GenAI patterns and capabilities for future products.
  • Find ways to improve product capabilities, streamline operations and gain efficiency.
  • Mentor junior Product Managers day to day through feedback, collaboration and shared work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, product development or technical roles.
  • Proven background as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager on complex, technology-driven products.
  • Ability to turn technical concepts and system behavior into clear requirements for both technical and non-technical readers.
  • Experience working closely with engineering and data science teams on AI- or data-driven products.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to juggle many priorities in a fast-moving setting.
  • Working knowledge of agile methods and modern product development practices.
  • Desired: ability to build effective working relationships across teams through collaboration.
  • Desired: advanced analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Desired: self-starter who is comfortable in an evolving, ambiguous problem space.
  • Desired: familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Airtable.
  • Desired: proficiency with Lucidchart, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Desired: experience in the Media & Entertainment industry.
  • Desired: knowledge of data governance, privacy, legal compliance, cybersecurity and ethical AI practices.
  • Desired: experience writing, reviewing or contributing to code in modern programming languages.
