Description

You will own product direction for the developer tooling area of an agentic AI platform, from early concept through launch and iteration. The team builds the tools developers use to create agent experiences, and the end-user experiences must meet a high standard for enterprise agents.

The longer-term aim is to find the resources, playbooks, and recurring work employees depend on, turn them into automations, and offer those automations through the company's AI assistant. The first target is the company catalog items, and you will lead the technical product work on the catalog interpreter.

The role sits in a fast-paced, customer-focused group where clear writing is central to explaining product ideas and progress.

Responsibilities

  • Write product specs that define the problem, set goals, and state success metrics for design and engineering teams.
  • Lead the definition and design of core technology, developer interfaces, and end-user experiences for the agent platform.
  • Review other developer platforms and document what good looks like, so the internal team agrees on direction.
  • Work closely with machine learning and platform engineers to track new agentic AI research and turn it into product recommendations based on market conditions.
  • Help run hackathons and grow the developer community.
  • Break down complex problems using your technical knowledge and data, and review product usage regularly to shape the roadmap.
  • Support cross-functional teams with goal setting, project scoping, and milestone planning through each project.
  • Make sure designers understand the problems and can test ideas quickly.
  • Support deployment teams so customers get product value quickly.
  • Build trust with CIOs and IT managers at Fortune 500 companies so they can make decisions faster.

Requirements

  • You have experience using AI to improve work processes, decisions, or problem-solving, such as through AI tools, workflow automation, analysis of AI-driven results, or assessing AI's effect on a function or industry.
  • You have 15+ years of experience managing software products.
  • You can break down complex problems, spot patterns, and find solutions based on data.
  • You write clearly and concisely about new products, operations, and plans.
  • You learn quickly, enjoy studying the technology behind new products, and do your own academic and competitive research.
  • You understand APIs, authentication, and integrations well.
  • You have built enterprise products that involved integrations with third-party platforms.
  • You have a record of owning product goals and delivering results.
  • You know how to decide when to iterate, when to drop a product, and when to scale one.
  • You can gather input from many sources, set clear priorities, and explain them well.
  • You can connect technical work with business needs and maintain difficult relationships with internal and external stakeholders with patience.
  • You work closely with data science, engineering, user experience, and customer success teams.
  • You communicate well, notice fine details, and build real relationships by understanding customers and stakeholders.
  • You are curious, enjoy learning new subject areas, and are willing to work in a scrappy way when needed.
