PS, Solution Architect /Forward Deployment Engineer ( Armis/ Veza)

Description

The company is hiring a Forward Deployment Engineer to work across engineering, product and customer success.

This is a hands-on field role, not a sales engineering one. You will deploy, troubleshoot and drive real product results inside customer systems.

Your job is to help customers succeed, clear obstacles and confirm the product delivers value in production.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and connect Application Security (AppSec) products in customer environments yourself.
• Work with developers, engineering managers and security staff to get the platform into daily use.
• Help customers move from first setup to advanced use cases quickly.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical problems in live environments.
• Trace issues across infrastructure, APIs and application layers.
• Find product gaps and, when needed, fix bugs or write code alongside the engineering team.
• Manage several customer accounts at once and keep high-value customers engaged, active and expanding their usage.
• Work with Customer Success on proofs of value (POVs), onboarding and adoption plans.
• Turn field observations into concrete product feedback.
• Work with engineering to improve usability, performance and scale, and make the product simpler to deploy, configure and run.

Requirements

• 4, 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps or field engineering.
• Solid understanding of AppSec concepts such as SAST, DAST, APIs and vulnerabilities.
• Practical experience with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and modern architectures.
• AppSec expertise and proof-of-value (POV) experience are required.
• Skill at solving complex technical problems across the stack.
• Comfortable working directly with developers and engineering leaders.
• Willing to travel 25, 50% to work on-site with customers.

Conditions

For roles in this location, base pay is $196,00 - $258,550, plus equity when applicable, variable or incentive pay and benefits.

Sales roles generally carry an On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive structure.

Base pay shown is a guideline; total compensation depends on qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.

Pay is based on the geographic location of the role and may change with work location.

Work personas (flexible, remote or required in office) are assigned based on the nature of the work and the work location.

The company may use a third-party service to confirm the distance between your primary residence and the nearest office.
