Description

The company is a sports technology firm working across sports, media and betting. It covers more than a million events a year and serves over 1,700 federations, media outlets, betting operators and consumer platforms in 120 countries.

eSports sits within the Odds services division and is one of its fastest-growing areas. This role owns how eSports content partners are connected to the company's Odds ecosystem and how that content reaches bookmakers worldwide.

The work involves several teams and units, each building parts of the product. You will need to learn how the pieces fit together quickly and work closely with engineering on integration design.

Responsibilities

  • Run the eSports odds roadmap from first definition through build, launch and scale.
  • Design and deliver supplier integrations alongside engineers.
  • Write clear specifications and iterate with the team to ship reliable eSports odds features.
  • Analyse data and speak directly with bookmakers to learn how they and their bettors use eSports markets, then turn those findings into product decisions.
  • Bring in other teams early, flag risks promptly, and stay accountable for results you do not fully control.
  • Engage and persuade stakeholders in engineering, trading, sales and with supplier partners.
  • Run product workshops and align cross-functional teams that work with multiple suppliers.

Requirements

  • You are an eSports specialist who follows the scene, its titles and its competitive landscape closely.
  • You communicate well in writing and speaking, adjusting detail and tone for engineers and senior leaders alike.
  • You have worked on eSports products such as odds, data, streaming or similar.
  • You can get up to speed quickly in a complex, multi-team service architecture and work well with engineering.
  • You have worked in a matrixed organisation where influence counts for more than formal authority.
  • You take ownership of outcomes end to end, even without control of delivery, and you follow through.
  • You can bring cross-functional stakeholders together and get them aligned.
  • You use both quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions.
  • You have experience with agile development and delivery methods.
  • You are willing to respectfully challenge existing approaches.

Conditions

The role is office-first on a hybrid model, with you in the office four days a week.

The company values in-person time for building relationships, sharing ideas and collaborating, while recognising the flexibility of working from home.
