Description

You would lead product for card acquiring, which is the company's main payment method and runs at global scale. The company has operated since 2004 and serves more than 250,000 businesses in Europe with a single platform for payments and money management.

The company employs over 950 people across 14+ locations. The cards area brings in one of the company's highest levels of net revenue and helps it win and keep larger and mid-sized merchants.

The cards business is expected to become a bigger driver of growth. Online and in-person card acceptance could eventually merge, which would widen this role considerably.

The team's AI approach is to use it to move faster, simplify work and make better decisions for the businesses the company serves.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of the card acceptance product, from core infrastructure and processing stability to commercial enablement.
  • Set the go-to-market plan for new card features with Product Marketing and Commercial teams, and turn technical capabilities into clear value propositions that sales can use.
  • Lead the expansion of cards beyond Europe to support international growth.
  • Find untapped merchant verticals and use data to make decisions that increase net revenue across the cards portfolio.
  • Work directly with payment schemes and external partners, and make decisions that shape the product roadmap and the company's market positioning.
  • Manage, coach and grow a cross-functional team of around 20 people, including product delivery managers, a product partnership lead, a dedicated data specialist and a product marketing manager.

Requirements

  • A record of launching successful financial or payment products, including setting prices, positioning and packaging with product marketing.
  • Understanding of direct versus indirect partnership models in payments and their commercial effects.
  • Ability to work through the technical architecture of card acquiring, including the demands of PCI compliance.
  • Experience running operations-heavy environments and building organisational structures that handle very high transaction volumes.
  • A strong drive to understand merchant pain points and build products that delight them. This is non-negotiable.
  • Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams, and building a culture of high performance, accountability and psychological safety.

Conditions

Applications must include a CV written in English.

Benefits

  • Regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development.
  • Fair and transparent salary reviews.
  • Opportunities to move into new roles or projects, as the company often fills positions from within.
  • Support with tools, trust and opportunities for promotion, a career change or building new skills.
