Description

The company is a global technology company that moves and manages money for people and businesses, including international transfers, spending abroad and receiving payments.

This leadership role covers onboarding for new personal and business customers. You will lead the Consumer Onboarding, Account Setup, and Account Access & Recovery teams, which together make sure customers can join easily, securely and understand how to get value from the products.

You will report to the Onboarding & Scalable Growth Director and lead several cross-functional product teams, including 3, 4 product managers and their teams.

The role works closely with product, engineering, design, analytics, compliance, operations and marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Raise conversion for new personal customers so they complete their first successful transaction quickly and with confidence.
  • Reduce drop-off across signup, KYC, profile creation, pricing understanding and transaction creation.
  • Own the login, account recovery and 2FA experience, which is a sensitive, high-contact part of the funnel.
  • Improve UX across onboarding journeys, particularly complex or regulated flows.
  • Balance growth goals with security, compliance and operational scalability.
  • Own core metrics such as conversion rate, onboarding contact ratio and 2FA cost per user, and drive improvements.
  • Set a high bar for UX quality by working closely with design and research.
  • Align with compliance, security, operations and marketing on shared goals.
  • Help your PMs set priorities, move quickly and focus on outcomes.
  • Lead by example and inspire your own team and others with your ideas, knowledge and initiative.

Requirements

  • Experience leading onboarding or core conversion work at a fast-growing tech company, ideally with regulated or complex flows such as fintech, identity or compliance.
  • Track record owning end-to-end metrics like conversion or retention and moving them, not just shipping features.
  • Strong UX judgement, product sense and attention to detail.
  • Experience leading senior product managers and building high-trust teams.
  • Comfort working with compliance, legal, operations, regional and marketing teams while managing competing priorities.
  • Data-driven and outcome-focused, with the ability to define success and keep teams on impact.
  • Able to think strategically and also get hands-on when needed.
  • Clear, logical communicator who can frame problems to influence others, with partners internal and external, in writing and in sprint planning.
  • Willing to be a hands-on lead: help with hiring, learn new skills to unblock work, and get things done beyond a standard product manager role.

Conditions

Equal opportunity: the company welcomes diverse, international teams and does not judge people by background or identity.
