Description

The company is a student-led startup building a social media app that aims to connect people more with the real world. The team is made up of people from more than a dozen countries.

The role is a remote, unpaid opportunity for students or people who want international experience, practical skills and startup exposure. It is a side project, so you need to commit some time each week.

The company is looking for a motivated Product Designer to help develop and visually design its digital products, building intuitive, engaging interfaces with a consistent, polished user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design user interfaces that look good, work well and stay consistent with the company's design identity.
  • Create mockups, wireframes and prototypes that turn ideas into concrete visuals.
  • Work with UX designers, developers and marketers so designs are implemented smoothly.
  • Attend weekly meetings to present your work, collect feedback and refine design directions.

Requirements

  • Use English comfortably, since the company works in English.
  • Own a drawing pad or graphic tablet, as most designs are handmade.
  • Know design software such as Figma or Photoshop.
  • Work autonomously while communicating well and collaborating with a team.
  • Learn quickly.
  • Think creatively and outside conventional boundaries.

Conditions

The role is fully remote and online.

It is unpaid and is not yet generating revenue.

Expect to commit some time every week.

Application process: a screening interview, an interview with the CEO about core values, a Q&A session to get to know you, and a panel interview with the team.

Benefits

  • Gain hands-on international work experience.
  • Grow professionally in a startup environment.
  • Build a global network, mainly across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
  • Receive mentorship covering hard and soft skills.
  • Have the chance to become a permanent employee if the company becomes a unicorn.
