Product Analyst - Source to Pay (S2P)

Description

The role is the second of three levels on the Product Analyst career path for Source to Pay (S2P).

You will provide extensive system (automated and manual), process, testing and project support for medium to large functional and cross-functional initiatives, working closely with IT, other functional areas and the Program Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the work to identify, research and resolve complex problems.
• Analyze several possible solutions and make sure the right one is implemented.
• Monitor production systems and processes.
• Help identify, analyze and document complex system change requests that affect one or more systems or business units.
• Confirm that requirements rest on enough analysis, then work with other functional areas and IT to prioritize and deliver change requests.
• Represent your functional area on large, highly complex projects and explain business needs clearly.
• Take part in requirements sessions and other stages of the system development life cycle.
• Keep the end user in mind in all system development and enhancement work.
• Keep documentation for the systems and processes your area owns or supports complete and current.
• Assess the technical and process impact of complex business changes.
• Manage testing for medium to large initiatives, with IT, to keep quality high and defects low.
• Build test timelines, test plans, test cases and management updates.
• Analyze, track and document test results in detail and obtain proper sign-off.
• Look beyond the system under test to find effects on other connected systems and processes.
• Coordinate projects, analyze complex business situations, solve problems and support implementation on large cross-functional projects.
• Build strong partnerships and collaboration within your area, across functions and with IT.
• Look for ways to improve processes your area owns or that span several functional areas.
• Train or mentor junior team members when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5+ years working in a Source to Pay operation, procurement, sourcing or a related group that supports systems.
• Strong business process and systems analysis skills, including judging downstream effects of changes across integrations.
• Ability to work with internal customers, vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain difficult, multi-faceted ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Advanced negotiation skills.

• Preferred: experience with Workday, LevelPath or other procurement systems.
• Preferred: advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Preferred: basic knowledge of MS Project.
• Preferred: PC, mainframe and applications experience.

Conditions

The base salary range for this position is $45,600.00-$86,200.00, with actual pay based on skill, geographic location and experience.
