The role suits people at different career stages, including recent graduates with strong analytical and technical foundations and a genuine interest in mobile games.

You will use real-time data and industry trends to help guide product decisions, testing ideas through experiments and iteration to check hypotheses and find ways to improve game performance.

Responsibilities

  • Spot areas to improve, form hypotheses and design A/B tests that move core business metrics.
  • Measure the effect of product changes with pre and post analysis.

  • Analyse large, complex datasets to answer strategic and operational questions.
  • Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics.
  • Build user segments that create business value.
  • Use data insights to inform LiveOps and economy decisions.
  • Turn data into clear, practical recommendations that guide product direction.

Requirements

  • A structured analytical approach to breaking down complex problems.
  • Solid SQL and/or data analysis skills, gained through study or work.
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau or Excel.
  • Clear, concise communication of insights drawn from data.
  • A curious, resourceful attitude and comfort with ambiguity.
  • A strong academic background in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or Economics, plus hands-on data experience through projects or internships.
  • Experience working with product or user data through internships, projects or previous roles.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing or experimentation.
  • An understanding of free-to-play monetisation, LiveOps or game economy systems.
