Description

As Principal Technical Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for Configuration (eBOM, MBOM) and Product Information Management (PIM) — the foundational product and part data that engineering, manufacturing, and the supply chain depend on. You will work closely with business partners to drive execution and manage the DevOps support team

You will also serve as the architect for the Capacity and Readiness Hoshin Kanri efforts, holding the system-level technology view across that space and its upstream and downstream integrations. The role calls for someone who can carry a product vision and a technical architecture at the same time, and who operates with a high degree of independence.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Configuration (eBOM, MBOM) and Product Information Management (PIM), owning both the strategy and the outcomes it delivers
  • Build and own the system and data architecture for Capacity and Readiness across current and desired state, establish the transition roadmap between them, and connect architecture priorities to operational needs, investment decisions, and measurable delivery outcomes
  • Set the technical standards for the products in scope, including versioning, integration technologies, development methodologies, deployment platforms, and data storage, and bring deep technology, process, and domain expertise to bear on product design whether built internally or sourced externally
  • Work closely with business partners and key stakeholders to define strategy, align investment, and agree the features, functions, and release timing of the products
  • Ensure successful end-to-end delivery across the domain, partnering with the engineering leader and with technical teams inside and outside the initiative, equipping them with a well-defined set of requirements, and determining together what can be delivered while balancing new features against defects and technical debt
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges, stay close to industry trends, and apply a high level of judgment to complex problems, offering solutions beyond set parameters and constructing clear recommendations
  • Influence strategy and direction at the enterprise level, operating in lock-step with the wider product management community and building both direct and behind-the-scenes support for ideas with executive leadership
  • Create a culture of customer focus and high performance that drives innovation
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 10 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
  • Eligibility Requirement:-Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Experience in Configuration Management (eBOM, MBOM) and Supply Chain Planning
  • Desired Characteristics:
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, particularly Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)
  • Experience in a system-level architecture or technical design role, including data architecture and integration across multiple systems
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) or PLM platforms
  • Experience in Aerospace or another regulated engineering and manufacturing environment
  • Recognized by peers and stakeholders as a subject matter expert in your discipline
