Description

The company runs an AI platform for market intelligence and workflow automation, used by thousands of large organizations in business and finance. Its content library holds more than 500 million premium business documents, including equity research, earnings call transcripts, expert interviews, filings, news and internal proprietary material.

The Content group finds, creates or licenses high-quality structured and unstructured content and brings it into the platform. The group reports to the Chief Content Officer and handles strategy, product, content management, collection operations and support for each content vertical. Content volume is growing quickly across all sets. The team values transparency, trust and accountability with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.

This role is a Product Manager focused on evaluating and analyzing new content, with the aim of widening and improving the breadth, quality and value of the data behind the platform. You need deep knowledge of capital markets and investment research, plus substantial experience evaluating financial research content and AI-driven investment analysis workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Find and assess third-party quantitative and qualitative datasets that would suit the platform, such as market data, fundamentals, estimates, ESG, news, research, transcripts, regulatory filings and alternative data. Work with Partnership Management and Content Leads to check data quality, methodology, licensing terms and integration feasibility.
  • Lead due diligence on active vendor evaluations, either alone or with a team of analysts. This covers data trials and proofs of concept, and you own the framework for judging coverage, timeliness, accuracy and historical depth. Build organization-wide business cases for new datasets, quantifying value, cost, build-versus-buy impact and strategic fit.
  • Become the go-to expert on how the company content is used. Support market research and competitive analysis to find new opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Identify high-impact AI features and datasets, and decide whether to license from a vendor or source content in-house to bring it into the platform and agentic workflows.
  • Monitor industry trends, competing platforms, solutions and content to produce competitive intelligence that shapes product and content direction. Keep pace with a fast-changing competitive landscape, shifting client expectations and rapid progress in LLM and AI workflows.

Requirements

  • Required: at least 5 years at a leading financial institution or investment research platform, working on the delivery or evaluation of content, features, analytics or models for front-office investment professionals.
  • Required: a BSc or substantial academic background in a quantitative field.
  • Required: proficiency with current market data and investment research databases, products and workflow tools, such as fundamentals, estimates, transactions, ownership, market data, news and transcripts.
  • Required: a solid grasp of how relational and JSON databases are structured, and a record of complex data queries and analyses using traditional query languages or generative AI tools.
  • Required: hands-on familiarity with Claude Code or similar platforms.
  • Required: a track record of delivering with a globally distributed team, and of working with cross-functional teams of engineers, content leads and vendor managers.
  • Required: a history of setting priorities, staying focused and hitting or beating deadlines.
  • Required: genuine interest in corporate finance, capital markets and investment research, combined with data management expertise gained either at a buy-side or sell-side firm or by supporting AI products or data used by investment and analysis professionals.
  • Required: a love of working where AI, data, technology and investment research meet, and experience running expert-level data analysis at scale.
  • Required: comfort in a high-pace, high-growth setting where business priorities change quickly.
  • Required: strong presentation skills, with the ability to inform and persuade executives and align several levels of stakeholders.
  • Required: experience delivering successful due diligence or content evaluations with varied businesses and teams across locations.
  • Required: empathetic communication, including listening well and spotting problems that need solutions.
  • Preferred: experience in content acquisition and licensing.
  • Preferred: prior work at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS start-up.
  • Preferred: exposure to iterative or agile product development.
  • Preferred: experience working with and leading distributed teams.
  • Preferred: prior formal or informal team leadership.
