Description

The company makes memory and storage products.

This role manages development of NAND, NAND solutions and SSD products, from planning through qualification and production ramp, following the company's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.

You will own delivery against the targets in the project release document: schedule, quality, cost, manufacturing readiness and budget, and lead the Product Development Team (PDT).

You will use AI tools for task automation and planning to work more efficiently and shorten time to market (TTM).

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Business Unit (BU), Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to define product requirements, development targets, deliverables and success criteria.
  • Keep a current project schedule that the whole team relies on, track tasks and actions, and build recovery plans when work falls behind.
  • Check that people and resources needed for the project are available, and close any gaps you find.
  • Build the engineering and qualification sample delivery plan with Supply Chain and coordinate manufacturing readiness.
  • Set up the Product Development Team (PDT) and run its regular meetings to set pace, focus, accountability and priorities.
  • Manage program risks and change requests across the whole project lifecycle.
  • Raise issues early, resolve conflicts, set priorities, make decisions on time, and escalate matters outside the PDT's authority.
  • Run stage-gate, work-review and program-review meetings, and send regular status reports to Engineering and Business Unit leadership.
  • Lead product qualification, ramp and handover to Manufacturing and Supply Chain, keeping schedule, quality, cost, budget and readiness on target.
  • Hold lessons-learned workshops and share knowledge and best practices across the company.
