SAP NS2 S/4 HANA Project Manager

Description

The company is an independent U.S. subsidiary of the global SAP market leader in business software and related services. It offers SAP solutions with added security and support for U.S. national security and critical infrastructure customers.

The role leads SAP cloud migration and implementation projects for Federal and Department of Defense customers, with the team working on secure, mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP cloud migration and implementation projects for Federal and DoD customers, delivering on schedule, budget, scope, and quality.
• Build and maintain project plans covering schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, deliverables, and contract obligations.
• Set up project governance, clear stakeholder communication, executive reporting, and ongoing customer engagement.
• Spot and manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resource limits before they cause delays.
• Work with Delivery Executives, Enterprise Architects, and technical teams to drive SAP cloud adoption, clean core principles, and AI-enabled initiatives.
• Support proposals, solution scoping, resource planning, estimation, and delivery strategy.
• Apply SAP delivery methodologies and best practices so projects reach successful go-live, high customer satisfaction, and a smooth handover to operations.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of project management experience on complex technology implementations.
• A few years supporting U.S. Federal Government, DoD, or Federal Civilian customers.
• End-to-end delivery of at least two Federal or DoD technology implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience managing SAP cloud migration and implementation work.
• Solid knowledge of SAP enterprise solutions and hybrid, private, or public cloud environments.
• Proven skill in project governance, financial management, risk mitigation, resource coordination, and engaging executive stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP certification is required, or you must commit to obtaining it within a set timeframe.
• Preferred: SAP certifications.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Conditions

U.S. citizenship is required, and the role requires access to customer data.

Internal candidates must have their manager's approval to transfer.

Travel of up to 50%, depending on customer requirements.

East or Central U.S. time zone preferred.

Pay falls within the posted salary range and depends on education, skills, experience, location, and role scope, as decided through the selection process.
