You will primarily work from home, as this role is designated Remote/Teleworker.

The company helps businesses connect, secure, analyze and act on their data and applications across edge and cloud environments. The team is growing its HPE Networking business, which now includes Aruba and Juniper Networks.

This is a presales systems engineering role for an experienced engineer ready for the next step in their career. You will work with account teams, partners and customers to design and position advanced networking solutions that support digital transformation.

It is designed as a promotion path for systems engineers, and you will help customers modernize their networks with HPE Networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build deep knowledge of the full networking portfolio: Aruba wired and wireless, ClearPass, Central, and Juniper switching, routing, security and automation.
• Work with sales teams to understand customer needs, then design solutions and deliver technical presentations and demos.
• Create architectures and proposals that match customer goals, and lead proof-of-concept (POC) work.
• Take part in advanced training and certifications to deepen your HPE and Juniper expertise.
• Work with internal teams and partners so solutions are well positioned and adopted.

Requirements

• More than 7 years in networking infrastructure, including prior work as a networking SE or in a similar role.
• Background in networking design, installation, services or support is desired.
• Experience in public sector, higher education, K-12 and enterprise environments.
• Solid grasp of network design principles and protocols.
• Experience with Aruba and/or Juniper solutions across switching, wireless, SD-WAN, data center and security is required.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Aruba or Juniper certifications are highly desirable, and you should want to pursue further certifications.
• Preferred: understanding of public sector and enterprise environments and their procurement processes.
• Preferred: interest in network automation, AI-driven operations and cloud-managed networking.

Conditions

Ideal candidates live in Quebec City and can travel within the province of Quebec.

Travel is approximately 50% to 75% of the time.

Relocation is not available for this position.

Salary range in Canada is CAD 168,000 to 312,000 per year, covering base pay and target sales compensation at 100% of plan, split 75% base and 25% target sales pay. The actual offer depends on location, experience, education and skill level, and variable incentives may also be offered.
