The team designs, builds and runs scalable, secure platform infrastructure, tools, frameworks and services that support enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with product, design and cloud operations teams to understand their needs and turn them into solid platform solutions.
• Build and maintain automation tools and scripts that speed up delivery, operations and infrastructure management.
• Keep the platform reliable, secure and fast through continuous monitoring, tuning and sound security practices.
• Write technical documentation and give guidance and support on platform capabilities and best practices.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience after the bachelor's degree in the job offered or a related occupation. A master's degree or foreign equivalent in one of those fields with three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation is also accepted.
• Have three (3) years of experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications on SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA Spark and SAP BTP.
• Have three (3) years of experience designing and tuning data models, queries and workloads for SAP HANA Datalake and HANA.
• Have three (3) years of experience running job scheduling and workload orchestration with SAP BTP Scheduler or Temporal.
• Have three (3) years of experience designing, building and maintaining services that integrate with SAP Cloud ALM.
• Have three (3) years of experience building and tuning event-driven applications and data pipelines that use real-time messaging with Kafka and Redis to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Have three (3) years of experience creating and managing OpenAPI specifications through SAP Business Accelerator Hub for API discovery, publishing and consumption at enterprise scale.
• Have three (3) years of experience configuring API gateways to handle high request volumes, including routing, load balancing, caching and monitoring.
• Have three (3) years of experience building and improving cloud-native microservices and REST APIs in Java, Kotlin, Golang and Python.
• Have three (3) years of experience troubleshooting and optimizing distributed data transformation and processing pipelines in SAP HANA Spark.
• Have three (3) years of experience deploying containerized applications on SAP Gardener, with service-to-service communication handled by Istio or another service mesh framework.

Conditions

Hybrid work model.

Based in Newport Beach, CA.

No travel required.

The annual base salary range is $147,093 - $206,460. The targeted combined range, including base salary and variable incentive target, is $147,093 - $229,400. The final offer falls within that range and depends on factors such as education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location and the selection process.

Any variable incentive has a target amount, and actual payouts depend on company and individual performance.
