.NET Software Developer (Medior or Senior)

Description

The company's global software development center in Mechelen, Belgium, builds software for dentists and dental technicians.

Its products cover image acquisition, diagnostics, treatment planning, prosthetic CAD/CAM and collaboration within dental teams, with the goal of better patient care.

The.NET team is hiring a senior software engineer.

The role sits within an operating company of the group.

Responsibilities

• Help design and build server applications, writing code, reviewing peers' code and writing and running unit tests.
• Keep code quality high by checking reviews, unit test coverage, continuous integration and adherence to coding guidelines.
• Share your Azure knowledge with the team, follow technology trends and contribute ideas to the technical roadmap.
• Find, analyse and fix problems, then explain the fixes to the team so others learn from them.
• Support third-level support cases and help with software testing.

Requirements

• A master's degree in software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience building high-quality software with a strong focus on maintainability and scalability.
• Solid knowledge of relevant programming languages and frameworks, such as C and.NET.
• Experience with CosmosDB.
• Experience with RESTful web services and API design.
• Good knowledge of Azure Functions and cloud architecture.
• Asset: experience with Azure DevOps.
• Asset: experience with React.
• You communicate openly and well.
• A strong analytical mind and the ability to work through problems with the team.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Conditions

Based in Mechelen, Belgium, with onsite presence required 4 days a week.
