Middle+ Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

You would run several projects at once across departments, aiming to meet goals within scope, timeline and budget.

The role covers the full project: planning, solution design, budget, staffing and risk.

You would work alongside business and technical people from different teams.

Responsibilities

• Take each project from the first request through to delivery, keeping it on scope, schedule and budget.
• Map current workflows and processes, spot where they can be improved, and turn those findings into clear project requirements.
• Improve business processes using research, process mapping, data review and gap checks.
• Plan each project's solution design, budget, staffing and risk handling.
• Keep stakeholders informed by confirming requirements, sharing progress, presenting outcomes and setting realistic expectations.
• Direct cross-functional business and technical teams on scope, priorities and the backlog.
• Guide rollout and change management so stakeholders stay involved and adoption goes smoothly.
• Connect business systems, processes and technology solutions into one working whole.

Requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience, including projects taken from first request to implementation.
• Experience at a product company or startup, working with internal stakeholders and users.
• Track record managing digital products, SaaS, technology or AI-related projects.
• Hands-on work with AI-powered products, AI solutions or AI-driven business processes.
• Proven record of improving business workflows and delivering beyond development and standard SDLC work.
• English at Upper-Intermediate or Advanced level.
• Background in business analysis or product management is a plus.
• Experience with no-code or low-code tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, Bubble or Bolt is a plus.
