Middle Project Manager (Remote, Contract)

Description

The company runs internal projects that connect business teams with technical teams, and this contract role is fully remote.

The project manager sees each internal initiative through from early discovery to rollout and then into everyday operations.

Responsibilities

• Guide an internal project from the first requirements conversations through to delivery and the process changes that follow.
• Interview users and run discovery sessions with stakeholders to pin down needs, test assumptions, and turn findings into project requirements.
• Connect business stakeholders with technical teams so everyone shares the same picture at each stage.
• Spot risks, issues, and dependencies early and plan how to contain each one.
• Bring new products, tools, or processes into the way the business already works.
• Drive change management, adjusting quickly as requirements, priorities, and business needs shift, while keeping teams aligned and work moving smoothly.
• Track project performance and KPIs so delivery keeps pointing at business goals.
• Gather and analyze data to inform decisions and back up proposed solutions.
• Write and present progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Look for ways to improve processes and close efficiency gaps between teams.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of project management experience.
• Practical work in business process analysis, optimization, or building product workflows.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management with both business and technical audiences.
• A habit of making decisions based on data.
• Experience working with AI or putting AI into products or business processes.
• Strong organizing and delivery skills, with the flexibility to handle changing requirements.
• English at B2 level or higher.

Conditions

Contract role, fully remote.
