Description

The company runs a contract manufacturing business (CDMO) and this role leads its marketing: brand storytelling, visual identity and content strategy across all channels.

The work sits between creative and strategy, aiming to raise brand awareness, engage customers such as large pharma and small to mid-size biotech firms, and support business growth through clear messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run integrated brand and marketing strategies that strengthen the CDMO's market position, lift awareness and deepen engagement with large pharma and small to mid-size biotech customers.
  • Own the end-to-end content strategy and editorial calendar, keeping it aligned with business priorities, service offerings, campaign goals and long-term capacity planning.
  • Lead the creation of technical and thought leadership content, including white papers, case studies, articles, blogs, presentations and customer success stories that drive demand and commercial growth.
  • Keep messaging and visual identity consistent across digital, print and event marketing, matched to go-to-market plans and the customer buying journey.
  • Oversee creative assets and collateral such as graphics, videos, presentations, infographics, brochures and promotional materials.
  • Lead trade shows, conferences, webinars and other industry events, covering content planning, booth messaging, presentations, demonstrations and event campaigns.
  • Track content and campaign performance with analytics and KPI dashboards, and use the results to improve engagement, lead generation, conversion, SEO and marketing ROI.
  • Work with global cross-functional partners, including Business Development, Technical Operations, Communications, Commercial teams and external partners, to deliver marketing that supports growth and revenue targets.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, life sciences or a related field is required. An MBA or master's with a focus on marketing, digital strategy or life sciences is preferred.
  • At least 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, CDMO or contract manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in brand management, content marketing and digital engagement, with multi-channel campaigns you have built and run.
  • Strong record of writing technical and scientific content, such as white papers, case studies, thought leadership articles, presentations and customer-facing collateral.
  • Working knowledge of marketing technology, including marketing automation, CRM, content management platforms and analytics dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and performance marketing skills, with experience measuring campaign effectiveness, lead generation, conversion, SEO and marketing ROI.
  • Proven ability to work well across global and cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Technical Operations, Commercial, Communications and agency partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder and project management skills, including turning business goals into marketing plans and handling several priorities in a fast-paced global setting.
  • Contract management.
