Description

The company aims to speed up the move of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy.

Its view is that the future is 100% electric and 100% better.

Homes are among the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet uptake of options such as heat pumps is slow because of cost and complexity. The company is building a vertically integrated business focused on home electrification, the first of its kind, with the aim of making clean energy simple, transparent and affordable.

Technology, automation and data carry much of the scaling work, so the team values people who are strong at their craft, curious about new tools including AI, and keen to keep improving how work gets done.

This role is for a Market Growth Lead to join early and drive growth across several markets, each shaped by its own conditions down to municipality, utility and rebate level. You will work with sales and marketing, share responsibility for the sales target in your markets, and track the funnel daily from first lead through signed contract and install to find where performance slips or upside is missed. Sales and marketing do not report to you and you do not control their budgets, so you lead by knowing your markets' funnels better than anyone and by getting the owners of each lever to make the right fixes quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Own, together with Sales, the sales target for your markets, with full view of leads, booked consultations, proposals and quotes, won deals and cancellations, plus a weekly forecast by market and early warnings on risk.
  • Check funnel results each day and work out what is moving volume, conversion, speed and cost, sliced by municipality, utility and rebate or non-rebate cohort. Causes include lead quality, channel mix, speed to lead, close rates, pricing and install capacity.
  • Rank the highest-impact fixes across markets, suggest where spend and resources should move, and push changes through to completion with the Sales, Marketing, Field Marketing and Operations owners.
  • Build detailed knowledge of each market, including competitors, seasonality, local utilities, rebates and incentives, and customer behaviour. Use it to shape programs for each market with the teams who run them.
  • Hold a weekly performance review across your markets with a prioritised action log showing owners, deadlines and results, and report progress to leadership.

Requirements

  • 5, 8+ years in market or city GM, growth, revenue operations, sales or marketing management, strategy and operations, or consulting, with direct ownership of a revenue or volume target.
  • Strong analysis: you work in dashboards, CRM data and spreadsheets to answer your own questions.
  • A record of getting results through teams you do not manage, using clear thinking, credibility and direct communication.
  • Solid understanding of the whole funnel, how marketing, lead handling and sales execution connect, and where they tend to break.
  • Experience making data-backed budget and resource calls across several markets or channels and influencing the teams that own them.
  • A bias to act and comfort deciding on imperfect information. Experience in home services, HVAC, solar or other considered-purchase consumer businesses is a plus.
  • Willing to travel regularly across your markets to spend time with local teams, partners and customers.
  • Hands-on use of modern tools, including AI, to automate work and run your day more efficiently.
  • Not every item needs to be a match: if you have the core skills and experience and are willing to learn the rest, the company encourages you to apply.

Conditions

Full-time, permanent contract.

In person in North Vancouver, BC, with regular travel across the markets you oversee.

The company is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on any ground protected under applicable human rights law.

Benefits

  • Dental care, vision care and life insurance premiums fully paid by the company.
  • Extended health care.
  • Disability insurance.
  • Education support.
  • Parental leave top-up.
  • Equity.
