Description

The company is building a global digital sports platform that serves fans through commerce, collectibles, and betting and gaming products. Its reach includes more than 100 million fans in its database, about 900 sports properties, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and over 2,000 retail locations.

The company is a new business within that ecosystem, focused on next-generation collectibles across collectibles, culture, and technology. It is backed by investors, operators, and sports and entertainment partners, and draws on a platform that engages more than 81 million fans.

This role supports trade marketing for the Hobby and Breaker channel, which includes more than 600 independent hobby shops and 100 breaker accounts. It is one of the main ways the Topps brand reaches collectors and the trading card community.

You will report to the Director of Trade Marketing and run trade marketing programs for this channel. You will build partner-facing tools and programs for engagement and sales, lead major community and tentpole marketing efforts, and run the systems that get marketing assets, communications, and product information to accounts. You will be the main trade marketing contact for the sales team covering the channel and work across functions to bring channel priorities to market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and run trade marketing programs for more than 600 hobby shops and 100 breaker accounts, turning brand, product, and marketing goals into channel activations that grow engagement, sales, and collector participation.
  • Work with Sales Account Managers on product launches, promotions, and account-specific projects, and build marketing tools, merchandising solutions, and partner resources that support growth.
  • Build and keep strong relationships with hobby shops, breakers, and community partners, and use their feedback and collector insights to shape channel opportunities and programs.
  • Lead key community and tentpole initiatives, including Topps Rip Night, Tier 1 product launches, grassroots activations, and the Topps Rip Night Captains program.
  • Support marketing for more than 300 product launches a year, making sure product information, creative assets, communications, and promotional materials arrive on time.
  • Run channel marketing operations, including the digital asset hub, communication platforms, the branded physical asset marketplace, creative briefing, and asset distribution workflows.
  • Manage major trade marketing projects with timelines, workback schedules, and execution plans, coordinating stakeholders across several functions.
  • Track and analyze channel, campaign, and program performance against KPIs, spot opportunities, and recommend changes to improve future activations.
  • Work with Sales, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Topps Media Network, and other stakeholders so execution is coordinated and collectors have a strong experience.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, shopper marketing, brand marketing, or a related field.
  • You have built and run marketing programs involving several stakeholders, channels, and deadlines.
  • You have worked with retail, specialty retail, independent business, creator, influencer, or community-driven channels.
  • You build strong relationships with external partners and cross-functional colleagues.
  • You are well organized and handle a high volume of launches, priorities, and deadlines while keeping close attention to detail.
  • You have managed marketing tools, systems, digital asset platforms, operational workflows, and performance measurement programs.
  • You turn business goals into concrete marketing initiatives and use performance data to improve results.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and speaking, including building presentations and managing stakeholders.
  • You can balance planning with hands-on work in a fast-paced setting and bring a practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Preferred: understanding of trading cards, collectibles, hobby retail, or enthusiast communities. A plus: experience with creator partnerships, retail media, content marketing, or media partnerships.
