Description

Who are we?

The company is the world’s digital infrastructure company, shortening the path to connectivity to enable the innovations that enrich our work, life and planet.

A place where tech thinkers and future builders turn bold ideas into breakthrough experiences, we welcome your unique perspective.

Help us challenge assumptions, uncover bias, and remove barriers—because progress starts with fresh ideas. You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.

Job Summary

The company is looking for a Manager, Software Engineer to lead the team that builds and supports our channel and partner systems. The platforms include Salesforce Partner Relationship Management (PRM), Partner Engagement Management (PEM), and ChannelScaler, and together they cover how partners onboard, register deals, create their own quotes, co-sell with us, and get paid.

This is a hands-on management role. You will lead the engineers, and you will also design solutions across the full stack, review code, and build alongside the team when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers, including setting priorities, assigning work, and supporting their growth
  • Own the technical roadmap for our channel and partner systems, and decide what we build custom and what we configure in the platforms we already have
  • Work closely with Experience Product Managers (EPMs) and Product Owners (POs) to plan, prioritize, and deliver the roadmap
  • Manage the PRM partner portal, including partner accounts and users, role-based access, and the sharing rules that keep each partner's data separate
  • Develop PEM capabilities such as partner journeys, program tiers, certifications, and engagement scoring
  • Build partner self-quoting so partners can configure products, apply pricing within approved discount limits, and submit quotes for approval on their own. Connect it to CPQ and order management so an approved quote becomes an order without manual re-entry
  • Configure and extend ChannelScaler (or a similar platform), and keep it aligned with the Salesforce partner data model and Experience Cloud
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, ChannelScaler or similar, CPQ, order management, finance and incentive systems, marketing automation, identity/SSO, and our data platforms
  • Make sure partner data is accurate and consistent, so Sales and Finance are working from the same partner-sourced and partner-influenced numbers
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, sync errors, data issues, and failed deployments across environments
  • Establish engineering practices for code review, CI/CD, automated testing, releases, and documentation
  • Partner with Channel Sales, Partner Programs, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Security, and Architecture, and manage vendor and system integrator work

Requirements

  • Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 3 years managing engineers
  • Strong Salesforce development skills, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Full-stack understanding of how the partner platform fits together, from the portal user interface and Salesforce data model to APIs, integrations, and deployment pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with PRM and Experience Cloud partner portals, including partner data models, sharing, and security
  • Working knowledge of channel processes such as partner onboarding, tiering, deal registration, self-quoting, MDF, and incentives
  • Experience implementing, configuring, or integrating a channel or partner management platform (ChannelScaler or similar)
  • Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs and an iPaaS or orchestration platform such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Openprise
  • Ability to take ownership of a problem, find issues early, and follow fixes through to production
  • Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I/II, Experience Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with indirect sales at an enterprise B2B or technology company, including resellers, distributors, alliances, and co-sell
  • Direct ChannelScaler experience is a plus, including administration, configuration, and Salesforce integration
  • CPQ experience, especially partner-facing quoting and order-to-cash integrations
  • Experience with partner analytics and reporting, such as CRM Analytics or Tableau
  • Experience building and deploying Agentforce agents or other AI automation in partner workflows
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CI/CD (SFDX, Git-based deployment), version control, and automated testing
  • Experience leading full-lifecycle implementations and Salesforce org migrations
  • Experience managing partner data in a global, regulated environment, including GDPR
  • Salesforce Application Architect, Agentforce Specialist, or related advanced certifications
